Analysis On The Origin Of Book Style Of Dong Mei Ren Epitaph In Sui Dynasty

Sui stele inherits six dynasties and three Tang dynasties,which is of great significance in the history of calligraphy.The object of this paper is the epitaph of Dong Mei in Sui Dynasty,which is the product of this time.The epitaph integrates the beauty of southern calligraphy with the beauty of northern calligraphy,and is one of the representative regular script stones in Sui Dynasty.This paper is divided into four chapters to discuss and analyze dong Zhi and its related issues.The first chapter is a summary of Dong Mei’s epitaph.This part mainly introduces some basic general situation of dong Zhi’s rubbings,contents of the epitaph and so on from the aspects of history and literature,and collects and sorts out predecessors’ comments on the epitaph since zhi shi was unearthed.It also briefly describes the historical background of dong Mei’s Epitaph,takes Dong Zhi as the representative of the "strict and orderly" book style not appearing out of nowhere at a specific time,and sorts out the dai Zhi Shi regular script with "strict and orderly" book style into a table.In chapter two,the author makes a comparative analysis of Dong Zhi with Zhong Shu,Wang Shu and North and South stone carving to explore the cause and origin of dong Zhi’s style of regular script.This paper analyzes the artistic characteristics of Dong Mei’s Epitaph from the aspects of brushwork,composition and characters,so as to solve some problems that the author needs to pay attention to in the writing process.The third chapter,the "Dong Zhi" with the same period of the Sui Dynasty regular script zhi shi,the early Tang period regular script zhi shi comparative analysis,summarizes the typical of the annals in the Sui Dynasty regular script stone,the practical value of the Sui Dynasty regular script,and the "Dong Zhi" style of the influence on the early Tang regular script.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the author since studying the book in the present,the creation of two aspects of some experience.Taking "Epitaph of Dong Mei" as a model,this paper analyzes the problems that should be paid attention to in studying this style of calligraphy from the perspective of development and creation,and then summarizes how to learn a tablet inscription,how to better transform the development and improve the style of the work.
