The Tang Dynasty was the heyday of the development of regular script art.Ouyang Tong,as a famous calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty,inherited his family’s calligraphy,especially the regular script.On the basis of inheriting his family’s calligraphy,he also innovated the regular script,occupying a pivotal position in the history of Chinese calligraphy.This paper intends to conduct a systematic study on the reasons for the formation of the regular script characteristics of Ouyang Tong,the innovation of the regular script and the characteristics of the style of the regular script,and the inspiration to personal creation,in order to vigorously promote the regular script art of Ouyang Tong.This paper starts from the social background of the early Tang Dynasty,and combines with Ouyang Tong’s family environment,so as to analyze and explore the factors that formed Ouyang Tong’s regular script characteristics.Secondly,the analysis of the brushwork and font of Ouyang Tong regular script,Ouyang Tong can not only use the center front freely,but also be unique in dot painting;For the font,on the basis of inheriting the charm of Ouyang Xun,the Kai Li is combined,especially the vertical space of the word is compressed,the center of gravity of the word is moved down,and the palace is still tightened,adding more mood to the knot of the regular script.Thirdly,this paper makes an in-depth study of Ouyang Tong’s handed down works Daoyin Law Teacher Tablet and Quan Boy’s Epitaph by image analysis method,and compares the two works of Ouyang Tong from the aspects of brushwork,character method and chapter method,and compares the works of his father Ouyang Xun,so as to analyze the formation and change of Ouyang Tong’s style of writing.From the analysis of the works,we can intuitively feel the integration of Wei tablet with official script and regular script in Daoyin Legal Teacher Tablet,as well as the integration of mature and implicit brush use with northern and southern style in Quan Boys Epitaph,and explore the historical status of Ouyang Tong regular script and its influence on different periods of later generations.Finally,it focuses on personal practice of calligraphy creation,highlights the use of "batch method" and Lu Feng in Ouyang’s regular script,and thinks about some problems in the process of calligraphy creation. |
