Research On The Expression Of Local Feelings In Rural Documentary

Farming is the outline of the country.Chinese countryside has a profound farming civilization and is the birthplace of Chinese local culture.After the reform and opening up,the state has paid more and more attention to the construction of the countryside,constantly accelerating the modernization of the countryside,narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas,and now has achieved a comprehensive victory in poverty alleviation.In the new era,the Nineteenth National Congress put forward the strategy of Rural Revitalization.The state pays more and more attention to rural construction.In this context,the content selection of rural documentaries is more extensive,the creators use the lens to record the rural scenery,history and culture,record the most real people and things belonging to the countryside,enhance people’s understanding of the countryside,and promote the pace of rural modernization.However,with the acceleration of urbanization,the contradiction between urban and rural areas has become increasingly prominent,the countryside has begun to be indifferent and stigmatized,the local feelings in the hearts of modern people have begun to be gradually replaced by the material desire brought by the city,and the impression of the countryside remains in the past,or even gradually forgotten.Rural documentaries can present the new appearance and development of the countryside to the audience,let the audience say goodbye to the one-sided understanding of the countryside in the past,understand the construction of the new countryside and the new problems it faces,and play an irreplaceable role in the dissemination of local feelings.This paper mainly includes four parts.The first part defines the concepts of "rural theme documentary" and "local feelings",and combs the different local feelings in different periods,and explains the value and significance of the local feelings shown in the rural theme documentary.The second part mainly analyzes how the documentary on rural themes utilizes the selection of rustic characters with different identities,diversified narrative perspective,plot narrative techniques to complete the expression of local feelings.Under the condition of ensuring the truthfulness and objectivity,through concretization the rustic sentiment,rural documentaries can not only increase the watch ability of documentaries through storytelling,but also trigger the viewers’ emotional resonance through specific story contents,and inspire their innermost true feelings of the countryside.The third part,from the perspective of audio-visual language,combined with the same type of documentaries,makes a concrete research and analysis of rural documentaries.It provides a train of thought for the documentary to construct local feelings.Documentaries are a combination of authenticity and artistry.Excellent documentaries must have a subtle audiovisual language,and these good audiovisual languages provide ideas for documentaries to construct rustic sentiments.The fourth part discusses the dilemma of constructing local feelings in rural documentaries in the new era,which is mainly too emotional and formalized,Nowadays,documentary production cycle is short,and creators will bring their own subjective emotions in the process of creating documentaries,without deep understanding and tend to be superficial.So we should grasp the proportion between truth and emotion,and tell the farmers’ own stories well.
