Research On Defamiliarization Narrative Strategy Of Zhang Yiqing’s Documentary

Zhang Yiqing is one of the leading figures in Chinese TV documentary,his documentary creation is the epitome of Chinese TV documentary changing from documentary aesthetics style in the late 1990 s,and becomes a unique corner in Chinese mainstream TV documentary market.Based on the defamiliarization theory of Russian formalism,this study takes Zhang Yiqing’s documentary films as the research object and analyzes his narrative strategies of defamiliarization.This study is divided into four parts,according to the logic of "concept-performance-path-attribution".In the first part of the thesis,this study systematically combs the theory of defamiliarization,and introduces the theory of defamiliarization into the study of documentary narrative by analyzing the connection between literary works and documentary works.In the second and third parts of the thesis,this study discusses the specific performance of the defamiliarization narrative strategy in Zhang Yiqing’s documentary by taking examples and interpreting his specific documentary works,and deconstructs zhang Yiqing’s methodology of defamiliarization narrative by referring to the practice path of defamiliarization in poetics and literature.In the last part of the thesis,this study not only makes attributions from subjective and objective perspectives,but also shifts the perspective to the outside of the work.Through the interview with Zhang Yiqing,we can understand his views on the defamiliarization narrative of the documentary,which enrichis the viewpoints of the thesis and enhances the credibility of the discussion.Through the internal research of Zhang Yiqing’s documentary and the external research of zhang Yiqing’s creation personality,it can be determined that Zhang Yiqing has the consciousness of defamiliarization narration,consciously avoids the existing experience,and consciously innovates narrative style when creating documentary.The successful practice of zhang Yiqing’s documentary defamiliarization narrative provides a typical case of defamiliarization of film and television works,proving that the theory of defamiliarization in the field of literary criticism also has the potential of practice and research in non-literary art forms.The artistic effects of defamiliarization are similar in different art forms,but the practice channels are different.In today’s homogenized art creation,creators should not only have the courage to get rid of the shackles of experience and common sense,but also have scientific and reasonable innovative methods.Defamiliarization shows such plasticity.
