A Study Of Qing Dynasty Boudoir Poet Yang Yun

Yang Yun(1774-1830),with original name Yang Deyun and courtesy name Ruiyuan,was born in Liangxi(now Wuxi),Jiangsu Province.She is the daughter of the poet Yang Fangcan.Yang Yun,a young poet who received family education at a young age,is good at poetry and is proficient in Qin and Xiao.She had written QinQingGeJi(only QinQingGeCi left)and nine volumes of notes on classical poetry JinXiangHuiShuo.Yang Yun was born in a scholarly family in Liangxi.Later,she married Qin Chengpei,a descendant of the same local family.She lived a happy and rich life.Because of following her husband who had official career,Yang Yun moved from Jiangnan to the north,widely participated in social and literary activities in the capital,and made a group of friends with similar experiences.During the period of making friends,Yang Yun spent a leisurely and happy time with her good friends,gathering together and creating poetry,forming societies and setting topics.During this period,she completed the poetry QinQingGeCi and the notes on classical poetry JinXiangHuiShuo.The two works fully reflect Yang Yun’s living state,spiritual outlook,poetic concept and aesthetic taste.This paper is divided into two parts.The first part is a study of Yang Yun herself and her works,details as follows:The first chapter is about searching Yang Yun’s family background,life and friends.By combing Yang Yun’s life background and life experience,we can truly reproduce her life state and creation.The second chapter is researching on Yang Yun’s QinQingGeCi.Connecting with Yang Yun’s life reality,this chapter analyzes the subject matter and content of Yang’s Ci,and interprets the artistic characteristics of Yang Yun’s beautiful style of poetry.Then it will analyze how YangYun inherit the artistic inheritance to her family poets and previous female poets.The third chapter is researching on Yang Yun’s JinXiangHuiShuo.Taking Yang Yun’s notes on classical poetry JinXiangHuiShuo as the research object,this chapter introduces the background of poetry anthology,summarizes the features of the compilation and selection of poems,analyzes the thematic content of the poems,and probes into Yang’s poetic concept and aesthetic interest.The second part is the collation of the notes on classical poetry JinXiangHuiShuo,which is the complete appearance of JinXiangHuiShuo.
