| Yang Wanli,a famous poet in the Zhongxing period of the Southern Song Dynasty,devoted his whole life to creation,and his works were abundant,with more than 4,200 poems in existence.In Yang Wanli’s poems,a considerable number of poems convey a strong sense of seasons,so his poetry creation is closely related to seasons.At present,the academic research on Yang Wanli’s poems mostly focuses on his creative techniques,poetic features and other aspects,and the research perspective needs to be further diverged and developed.Based on the seasonal dimension,this paper studies Yang Wanli’s poems.The research focuses mainly include the following aspects:First of all,it is aimed at tracing the origin of the pre-Song season writing.In different periods,facing the same season,poets will focus on different descriptions of seasons.From the initial evolution of the concept of season and seasonal thinking in mythical almanac,to the evolution of seasons in Qin and Han literature,Wei and Jin literature and Sui and Tang literature.Poems written about seasons in past dynasties have certain commonness and particularity of the times.The first chapter is the tracing of the writing of the seasons before the Song Dynasty.In different periods,different poets’ writing of seasonal alternation will show different expressions.From the initial evolution of the concept of seasons and seasonal thinking in mythical almanac to the evolution of seasons and literature in Qin,Han,Wei,Jin,Sui and Tang Dynasties,the entry of seasonal factors into literature is a gradual process: literati’s seasonal aesthetic consciousness gradually becomes conscious,and the relationship between seasons and literature tends to be closer.At the same time,the literary and artistic creation of seasonal writing in the past dynasties showed a certain inheritance,and because of the particularity of their respective times,they presented a new writing mode.The third chapter discusses the originality of the lyric mode of Yang Wanli’s seasonal poetry creation from the artistic level.Compared with the lyrical tradition of Chinese classical literature before the Song Dynasty,Yang Wanli made a new breakthrough in expressing emotions in the four seasons writing: there are complex types of emotions of sadness and joy in all seasons,and he also expressed his compassion for the people’s livelihood with the help of seasonal farming poems in spring and summer;The description of the seasonal environment in autumn and winter implies deep patriotism.Besides,the lyrical techniques of Yang’s poems are not stick to one pattern.Apart from the common lyricism in literary works,the poet flexibly uses imagination to create illusory artistic conception,create scenery and convey feelings,and through the application of the images of the four seasons,he creates diverse seasonal landscapes,which bear the emotional implication of the poet’s response to the seasons.On the basis of the above,the fourth chapter focuses on analyzing the philosophical connotations of Yang Wanli’s seasonal writing,including ecological interests,and discusses the achievements of the poet’s seasonal poetry creation and its influence on later generations.In the poetic expression of the phenomenon of the four seasons,Yang Wanli pays attention to exploring the natural nature of the animism of the universe,which reflects his transcendent aesthetic consciousness of universal love for all beings,equality between things and myself,and harmonious symbiosis.Under the joint action of the era environment of the heyday of NeoConfucianism and the poet’s own Neo-Confucianism accomplishment and practical experience,Yang Wanli’s seasonal writing shows his preference for natural interests and vivid interpretation of ecological philosophy,both in theme selection and aesthetic orientation.In the process of depicting various seasonal scenes and the growth of all things,the poet explores all kinds of reasons and interests contained in them,and at the same time,he never deviates from the poetic beauty.With equal observation of nature,he can inadvertently explore the inner philosophy of life,and finally realize the rational sublimation of poetry. |
