| The research around "light",the formal language of painting,has never stopped.With the rise of Impressionism,"light" not only occupies an extremely important position,but also has room for exploration.As an important representative of Impressionism,Degas’s "light" in his paintings is different from the "external light"that other members of the Impressionists focused on.He did not show interest in the visual effects of external light,but sought complex light with figures as objects.The artistic expression of color focuses on expressing the artistic effect of indoor light,especially stage light.The expression form of "light" in his figure painting is unique,which not only has innovative value and contribution to the use of "light",but also has an innovative value and contribution to the understanding and application of future generations.The "light" in painting has a certain enlightening effect.This paper is divided into four chapters to discusss.In the first chapter,the importance of light as a pictorial language in Degas’s painting is introduced through an analysis of the character’s life,a brief understanding of Degas’s artistic experience,and a brief overview of the artistic characteristics of Degas’s painting,The second chapter,taking time as the axis,sorts out and analyzes the evolution and development of "light" in Degas’s painting art.and the formation process,which provides a theoretical and historical basis for the induction of the characteristics of the "stage light" type below.The third chapter,based on the combination of the language type and style of "light" in Degas’s paintings,proposes "stage light" as a typical example of the use of light in his figure painting,taking the works of "bottom light source" and"top light source" as the The starting point is to analyze the characteristics of stage light from the two aspects of "changeable lighting angle" and "light source with varying intensity",and expound the role of light in the picture from the perspectives of "space","light and shadow" and "light color"..The fourth chapter,through the study of light in Degas’s figure painting,re-understands and realizes the importance of"light" in painting,combined with my own creative practice,summarizes the shortcomings in painting,and tries to improve the author’s understanding of painting in the practice of painting.The individualized expression and aesthetic ability of"light" examines and deepens the artistic expression and artistic effect of "light" in painting with new eyes and ideas. |
