| In recent years,China’s rapid economic growth has stimulated the development of tourism.Whether it is promoting urban culture or driving the development of tourism,city image mascots have played an important role.Changsha is one of the most famous tourist destinations in China.Tourism accounts for a very large proportion of the city’s overall economy.Therefore,promoting Changsha’s city mascot is conducive to enhancing Changsha’s cultural influence and promoting the development of tourism.The city mascot of Changsha can not only improve the citizens’ sense of identity with the city,but also make tourists interested in understanding Changsha.In this way,the cultural connotation of the city can be conveyed in the realization of commercial value.This paper starts from Changsha regional culture and Changsha city image and discusses the carries on the design of Changsha city image theoretically and practically.First,it analyzes the cases of classic city mascots at home and abroad.Second,this paper summed up the principles and methods of designing the city image mascot.Finally,combined with the research of Changsha city image mascot,this paper argues the design strategy of Changsha city image mascot should highlights"happy Changsha",element,shows the "Star City" culture,and modeling design reflects lovely,personality setting presents "Changsha spirit".The promotion and application of mascots are carried out through online and offline promotion.Online,emoji pack design and animation design are used to enhance the interaction with the public,spread the culture of the city,and increase people’s interest in this city.Offline,Changsha’s image mascot will be promoted in a wider range.through posters and derivative designs including badges,pillows,handbags and other derivatives,These promotions intend to enhance people’s understanding and recognition of Changsha culture,while increase added value to the city’s image mascot,and gradually bring economic benefits. |
