Research On The Application Of Rhetorical Devices In The Creation Of Humanistic Documentary

In recent years,diversified creative subjects,broad topic selection perspectives and flexible creative techniques have promoted the vigorous development of humanistic documentaries.The humanistic documentary with the theme of humanistic care and the promotion of humanistic spirit always adheres to the essential requirements of authenticity,objectivity and documentary.However,with the increasing aesthetic awareness and appreciation level of the public,people’s requirements for humanistic documentaries are not limited to "truth" but "artistic truth".Therefore,the directors of humanistic documentaries began to explore the artistic creation techniques of humanistic documentaries in a deeper way,so as to meet the public’s expectation of increasing humanistic documentaries.The application of rhetorical devices in the creation of humanistic documentaries is just one of the most vivid ways to improve the artistic truth in humanistic documentaries.Under this background,it is very necessary to focus on the application of rhetorical devices in the creation of humanistic documentaries,and discuss how to use rhetorical devices to promote the artistic effect of humanistic documentaries,so as to make the creation of humanistic documentaries more dynamic.On the basis of rhetoric,semiotics,narratology and other related theories,this paper discusses how to deal with the relationship between authenticity and artistic rhetoric,how to properly use rhetorical devices in creation,how to express the theme more accurately,how to shape the characters more fully,and how to promote the narrative more comprehensively.This paper is mainly divided into four parts:The first chapter is the basic construction of this paper,including theoretical basis and concept definition.In this part,firstly,rhetoric,semiotics,narratology and other theoretical viewpoints are briefly discussed,which provides theoretical basis for the author’s research later.Then it defines the concept of humanistic documentary,rhetoric and rhetoric in documentary,and sorts out the classification of humanistic documentary to better grasp the creative style and characteristics of humanistic documentary.The second chapter discusses the application of rhetorical devices in characterization.The characters are divided into external images and internal images,and the application of rhetorical devices in them is studied respectively.Among the external images of characters,repetitive rhetoric and white-line rhetoric are the most common,while metaphorical rhetoric and parallelism rhetoric appear frequently in the application of the internal images of characters.The third chapter discusses the rhetoric application in the narrative of humanistic documentary.Based on the theory of narratology,this paper studies the application and effect of rhetoric in humanities documentaries,and explores how to use rhetoric to tell vivid stories in humanities documentaries from three aspects: plot development,contradiction and suspense,and details.The fourth chapter discusses the rhetorical elements of audio-visual language in humanistic documentaries.This part focuses on the rhetoric of pictures with rich interpretations and the rhetoric of sound(hearing)that expands artistic tension in humanistic documentaries.In the analysis and exposition,it combines excellent humanistic documentary cases and the author’s creation of humanistic documentary works,and the theory guides the practice and further refines the theory in practice.The fifth chapter is to explore the montage rhetoric of showing hidden feelings in humanistic documentaries.This paper expounds the montage rhetoric commonly used in humanistic documentaries,such as "progressive" rhetoric to strengthen rhythm and atmosphere,"repetition" rhetoric to expand and deepen time and space,and "figurative" rhetoric to create ideological discourse and implication,etc.,and gives practical blessing to the conclusion by combining relevant works examples.The use of rhetoric in humanistic documentaries is complementary to other creative means,which increases the creativity of humanistic documentaries and promotes the creative height of the creators of humanistic documentaries.Using reasonable rhetorical devices,the true attributes and artistry in documentaries are ingeniously integrated,so as to promote the development of humanistic documentaries and enhance the artistic height of humanistic documentaries.
