Chinese idioms are a fixed collocation formed by the Han people in the process of long-term use.They have strong Chinese cultural characteristics.They are short in form but rich in meaning.The uniqueness of idioms makes their learning both interesting and difficult.Teaching materials occupy an important position in the whole teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Teaching and learning activities are based on teaching materials.The research on the compilation and selection of idioms is conducive to teaching materials to better serve teaching.The research object of this thesis is the idioms in Experiencing Chinese.From the perspective of idiom distribution,arrangement and acquisition,this thesis makes a detailed investigation and Research on idioms,in order to contribute to the optimization of idiom arrangement in Chinese as a foreign language textbooks.This thesis is mainly divided into five parts:The introduction is divided into four parts: the reason of the topic,the significance of the research,the research object,the research status,the research methods and ideas.The first chapter mainly analyzes the collection of idioms in Experiencing Chinese.Firstly,clarify the number and distribution of idioms in the teaching materials.Secondly,compare the idioms in the teaching materials with those in the grade outline,grade division and grade standard,investigate the presentation of idioms in the survey on the use of China’s mainstream Dynamic Circulation Corpus(DCC)and the corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University(BCC),and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of idioms in the teaching materials.The second chapter mainly analyzes the arrangement of idioms in Experiencing Chinese.This paper makes a detailed analysis of the reproduction of idioms in teaching materials,the interpretation of idioms in teaching materials and the setting of idiom exercises in teaching materials and exercise books,and puts forward corresponding suggestions.The third chapter mainly analyzes the types of idiom errors in Experiencing Chinese.By analyzing the types of idiom errors in HSK dynamic composition corpus,this thesis explores the causes of errors.The fourth chapter mainly puts forward some suggestions on the compilation and teaching of idioms in Experiencing Chinese.This chapter hopes to put forward feasible suggestions conducive to textbook arrangement and teachers’ teaching through the analysis of idioms in the above three chapters,and finally realize the significance of the textbook research.
