| The novel ’ Red Sun ’ is one of the famous ’ Red Classics ’ masterpieces in the period of ’ 17 years ’.Since its publication in 1957,it has been loved by readers for its high revolutionary enthusiasm and noble heroism spirit, and has been hailed as ’ revolutionary war songs, heroic odes ’.Subsequently, the novel has been adapted into movies and TV series for more than sixty years, which not only shows that ’ Red Sun ’ has a high artistic charm, but also fully demonstrates the eternal spiritual value of ’ Red Classics ’.However, since the various adaptations of the“ Red Sun ” are generated in different times and social contexts, the text is affected by the context of the times in the process of evolution. Therefore, the adapted films and TV plays will inevitably show distinct characteristics of the times, and the values contained in the works are bound to be constantly given new connotations.By analyzing and comparing the similarities and differences of ’ Red Sun ’ texts in the process of adaptation, this thesis explores the internal relationship between different texts, and then looks for the rheological law of cross-text adaptation, and explores the value and significance of text adaptation. The introduction first expounds the background and significance of the research, puts forward the basic problems of the cross-text research of “ Red Sun ”,and then conducts literature review.Through combing the relevant research,it analyzes the current situation of the cross-text adaptation research of “ Red Sun ” in the academic circle, and then finds out the advantages and disadvantages. Finally,it lists the relevant research methods. The first chapter first defines the concepts of different texts of “ Red Sun ”,and then puts forward the theoretical basis on which the research relies.Bakhtin put forward the theory of dialogue in the study of polyphony novels. In his opinion, everything comes down to dialogue.Dialogue is not only widespread in life, but also the structure of art works. To study the cross-text adaptation process of art works,it is necessary to combine the internal characteristics of the text with the external environment to achieve communication and dialogue between different voices. The intertextuality theory developed on the basis of Bakhtin ’ s dialogue theory also believes that any text is the inheritance and development of the past text. Therefore, when studying an object text,we should not only focus on the text itself, but also pay attention to other artistic forms and times. This is the theoretical basis for supporting the research. The second chapter discusses the theme level changes of ’ Red Sun ’ novels, films and TV series. The novel is a heroic song written by Wu Qiang based on his own real experience, which shows a noble heroism theme serving politics. In contrast, the film emphasizes the role of collective heroism in revolutionary struggle;influenced by the times,TV series presents a preliminary exploration of human nature, giving new spiritual connotation to heroism.Although the three texts express the theme of heroism, because of the changes of the times and the changes of the social and cultural context, the understanding and interpretation of the theme of heroism in each text are different,so the theme of the text is given different spiritual cores. The third chapter focuses on the differences in characterization among the three texts of“ Red Sun ” novels, films and TV plays.Characters are the bearers of the theme.Comparing the changes of characters in different times can reveal the theme connotation of the text to a certain extent. In this chapter, the characters are divided into positive characters and negative characters. The positive characters are represented by Shen Zhenxin,Shi Donggen and several revolutionary women, who bear the role of telling the theme of the text. The negative characters are mainly represented by Zhang Lingfu, who plays a role in contrast to the positive characters.Through the analysis of the author,it is found that in the process of text adaptation,no matter the positive or negative characters, their personality and image are not immutable, and they gradually change from singleness to pluralism, reflecting the changes of the times.Chapter Four and Chapter Five respectively study the three texts from the perspectives of narrative strategies and rhetorical discourse. In the narrative dimension, this thesis analyzes in detail the changes of different artistic texts in narrative perspective, narrative time and space, and narrative plot.In the rhetorical dimension, this thesis mainly discusses the differences in the use of rhetorical strategies such as metaphor, symbol and body in different texts and the different rhetorical effects.Narration focuses on the overall structure of the text, and rhetoric discourse focuses on the expression of the text at the level of artistic language.Only when the two reach a balance can we achieve both refined and popular appreciation, and truly serve the theme elaboration and characterization. |
