With the graduate enrollment expansion,more attention is increasingly being paid to the quality of graduate education.As an important norm to assess the quality of student’s learning,learning engagement is of great significance to assess the quality of graduate education.Based on the theory of learning engagement,self identity,professional identity and self-efficacy,this research focuses on some issues about learning engagement of Master of Chinese Language for International Education.Moreover,from the point of professional identity and self-efficacy,this research takes the influence of professional identity and self-efficacy on learning engagement as main subject,tries to explore the relationship between the three and reveals the influencing mechanism of Master of Chinese Language for International Education.Besides,this research wants to provide some suggestions on improving the learning engagement of Master of Chinese Language for International Education,This research involves four parts:First of all,what’s the current status of learning engagement,professional identity and self-efficacy of Master of Chinese Language for International Education.Second,what kind of impact do professional identity and self-efficacy have on learning engagement of Master of Chinese Language for International Education.Third,what’s the relationship between the learning engagement,professional identity and self-efficacy of Master of Chinese Language for International Education.Last,how to enhance the learning engagement of Master of Chinese Language for International Education.To solve this problems,this research takes integrated research method.First of all,we use text analysis to collect literature and determine the theoretical basis of this research and the design of the questionnaire.Next,we use quantitative research methods to analysis the influencing mechanism between professional identity,self-efficacy and learning engagement of Master of Chinese Language for International Education.Finally,we use multivariate regression analysis to set up an equation of linear regression for learning engagement of Master of Chinese Language for International Education.The conclusions of this research are as follows:First,there are differences between the learning engagement,professional identity,self-efficacy and their all dimensions of Master of Chinese Language for International Education.According to the questionnaire,the learning engagement level of Master of Chinese Language for International Education is not high.Among all dimensions,emotional engagement reaches the highest level,behavioral engagement reaches medium level and cognitive engagement reaches the lowest level.The professional identity is above average.Among all dimensions,professional cognitive identity reaches the highest,professional emotional identity reaches the lowest level,professional behavioral identity and professional adaptability are at a moderate level.The self-efficacy reaches general level.Among all dimensions,self-efficacy on professional practice reaches the highest level and self-efficacy on research and learning reaches the lowest level.Second,professional identity,self-efficacy and learning engagement of Master of Chinese Language for International Education have mutual effect with each other.According to the result of correlation analysis,there is an obvious positive correlation between professional identity,self-efficacy and learning engagement.Besides,this positive correlation also exists in all dimensions of professional identity,self-efficacy and learning engagement.Next,there is an equation of linear regression between professional identity,self-efficacy and learning engagement of Master of Chinese Language for International Education.According to the result of analysis of regression,the equation of linear regression between professional identity,self-efficacy and learning engagement of Master of Chinese Language for International Education can be described:learning engagement=1.220+0.487*professional identity+0.245*self-efficacy.Last,from the current status of learning engagement,professional identity,self-efficacy of Master of Chinese Language for International Education this and the mutual correlation between them,focus on how to enhance the learning engagement of Master of Chinese Language for International Education,this research,from individual perspective,from the point of school and society,puts forward some related suggestions.
