| Wu Guanzhong devoted his whole life to the exploration of oil painting nationalization.He combined the intuitionistic vividness and color richness of Western oil painting depicting nature with Chinese landscape spirit and aesthetic characteristics.Almost all of his oil painting works come from outdoor sketching or capturing the objective essence through sketch.He feels the rhythm of natural life with his heart and pursues the highest realm of harmony between man and nature.He paid great attention to the beauty of the form of the painting,his works retained the visual effect of the painting itself,but also enriched the art form of oil painting expression,and finally formed his own unique oil painting art language.Zhu Dequn linked the blending of Chinese and Western cultures,his paintings were inspired entirely by nature,and his abstract paintings had oriental and aesthetic connotations.He cast off the depiction of specific contours and painted landscapes in memory,using the composition and layout of Chinese landscape paintings,bold brushwork,gorgeous colors and vivid dots and lines,as well as the connotation of classical poetry,to create a poetic natural space,and to inject new ideas into Western painting.This paper uses the concept of “Landscape spirit”to explain the differences between Wu Guanzhong’s and Zhu Dequn’s oil paintings.First of all,it discusses the origin and connotation of “Landscape spirit”,and the transformation of “Landscape spirit”in modern process.Secondly,from Wu Guanzhong and Zhu Dequn’s oil paintings,“Landscape spirit”of the reasons for the formation and background analysis.Then,it focuses on the analysis of Wu Guanzhong’s and Zhu Dequn’s different embodiment of “Landscape spirit”in their oil paintings,through the comparative analysis of their respective works of art to reflect the difference between spiritual carrier and Noumenon.Finally,the paper discusses the inspiration of Wu Guanzhong and Zhu Dequn’s oil painting to the contemporary oil painting art.This paper makes a Comparative Study of the Difference Between Wu Guanzhong’s and Zhu Dequn’s “Spirit of mountains and rivers”in their oil paintings.Both of them belong to the same era and have become the best friends in each other’s life,but they have different life experiences and artistic edification,therefore,there are similarities and differences in artistic expression between the two.Both Wu’s and Zhu’s artistic creations were inspired by nature,but Wu paid more attention to the formal beauty of the figurative form,while Zhu Dequn’s preferred style was unrestrained and abstract.Through the analysis of the same theme of art works,experience the different forms of expression,which has a certain value for contemporary oil painting art. |
