Wu Guanzhong's Oil Painting Landscape Art Research

To reveal and summarize the characteristics of Wu Guanzhong's oil painting landscape,this thesis takes his oil painting landscape as the research object through the specific rules of formal beauty such as point,line,surface,composition and emotional expression.As well,the thesis explores the reasons for the formation of his oil painting style and its inheritance,combining his life experience and cultural background.With a strong national sentiment towards his motherland and homeland,he absorbed classical and modern art knowledge in all the aspects when he studied abroad.After returning home,he made on-the-spot exploration and summary of oil painting artistic creation in his work and life.He organically combined the oil painting,a foreign painting,with the style and form of Chinese localization,and constantly explored and tried the artistic expression of oil painting.His oil painting creation practice combined with Chinese cultural background,which has received extensive attention and has a far-reaching impact.His works also reflect his thinking and practice on the ontological language of art.On this basis,through the appreciation of oil painting landscape works,the aesthetic quality of his oil painting landscape works is analyzed.He uses the formal beauty of oil painting art language to convey his artistic ideas and aesthetic pursuit,expresses his true feelings through art works,and then analyzes his artistic characteristics and aesthetic ideas.This thesis analyses the unique freehand brushwork and artistic conception beauty in his works,and studies his practical experience and course of integrating the aesthetic pursuit of traditional Chinese painting with oil painting.Finally,it expounds the achievements of his oil painting landscape art,and briefly describes the influence of his painting on the contemporary painting world,as well as some enlightenment and experience in the painting practice after the study of his oil painting landscape art.Wu Guanzhong constantly explored and tried to integrate the spirit of Chinese traditional artistic with the Western modern artistic language,and then formed his own unique artistic style,which bridged the harmonious blending of the Eastern and Western art,promoted the modernization of Chinese painting and enriched the manifestations of oil painting.
