Jiang Yun pays close attention to the suffering of human spirit and attaches importance to the dignity of human spirit.By writing the fate of her "this generation",Jiang Yun reflects on the spiritual degradation of human beings in modern society.By portraying people living in the spiritual world one after another,Jiang Yun tries to reshape the spiritual order of human beings in the future and make human beings return to the spiritual greatness. In Jiang Yun’s previous studies,"spirit" has always been an important theme, but the research on this theme is mainly concentrated in a single work, lacking systematic in-depth discussion.Based on previous research results and personal thinking, this paper will analyze its spiritual connotation and personalized expression from three aspects of wandering temperament, spirit of love and confession consciousness, and try to analyze and summarize the reasons for the emergence of these spiritual traits from the author’s life experience and literature experience. The first chapter mainly expounds the vagrant temperament in Jiang Yun’s novels.According to Jiang Yun’s reflection on the relationship between man and city, the types of vagrants in his novels are divided into three categories:active escape, forced exile and trapped in the city.Through analyzing the different choices of characters in the level of action, the different motives of their vagrancy are explored, and the differences in their mental states are analyzed. The second chapter mainly expounds the spirit of love in Jiang Yun’s novels.Focusing on Jiang Yun’s love writing, this paper summarizes the connotation and characteristics of the spirit of love by analyzing the love concept and love experience of the characters. In terms of connotation,it is mainly manifested as self-sacrifice and belief in love, and in terms of characteristics,it is mainly manifested as fantasy and contradiction. Finally, the author summarizes and sublimates the love spirit in Jiang Yun’s works, showing that the love spirit is not only the small love between men and women, but also the great love with universal value. This spirit of love reproduces the nobility of the human spiritual quality in the classical era.The third chapter mainly expounds the confession consciousness in Jiang Yun’s novels.First,it defines the word "confession consciousness" and related vocabulary, and then analyzes the expression of confession consciousness in Jiang Yun’s novels. The first expression is never forgive, which reflects the lifelong nature of confession. The second expression is the right to revenge, which mainly highlights the core of confession consciousness--humility.Finally,from the perspective of literature history, the author analyzes the unique value of Jiang Yun’s confession consciousness. The fourth chapter mainly explores the reasons for the emergence of three spiritual traits. From the author’s life experience and literature experience, three themes are summarized, namely "romance and sentiment at the age of fourteen","the spirit of poetry in the eighties" and "love culture" in ancient China.
