| As a unique cultural phenomenon in Russia,the Holy Fool has a strong influence among Russian folk.Since the 19 th century,its influence has gradually entered the Russian literary world,and the image of the Holy Fool has begun to appear frequently in Russian literary works.The Cross of Flowers is the work of Russian writer Yelena Koryagina,who won the Russian Booker Prize in 2010 for this work.This work tells the story of the protagonist Feodosia,who went through hardships and embarked on the road of the Holy Fool.This paper mainly takes Feodosia,the protagonist in the work "Flower Cross" as the research object,summarizes the image of the Holy Fool,and analyzes the Holy Fool of the protagonist Feodosia under the framework of the definition of the image of the Holy Fool.image.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,main body and references.The introduction introduces the purpose and significance of the study,the current situation of the study,and the method and content of the study.The first chapter sorts out the definitions of the image of the Holy Fool by different scholars in academia,and summarizes these different definitions to form a framework.The second chapter is the core part of this paper.Under the framework of the image definition of the Holy Fool summed up in the first chapter,the image of the protagonist Feodosia is analyzed,mainly from: Panchenke’s definition of the image of the Holy Fool,the image quality of the Holy Fool in religious literature,Thompson The protagonist’s image is analyzed from the three aspects of the proposed five groups of Holy Fool’s Laws.The third chapter expounds the meaning of the image of the protagonist Shengyu in the work.Mainly from two aspects: redemptive meaning and critical meaning.The conclusion part draws the conclusion that Feodosia is indeed a recognizable image of the Holy Fool in the works,and through the analysis and summary of the image of the protagonist,the innovation and deficiency of Feodosia’s image of the Holy Fool.explain. |
