| The "14th Five-Year Plan" for Cultural Reform and Development and the "14th Five-year Plan" for Cultural and Tourism Development propose to further strengthen the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.On May 23,2011,Yao embroidery was approved by The State Council of the People’s Republic of China to be included in the third batch of national intangible cultural Heritage list.Yao embroidery,as an intangible cultural heritage,is closely related to the lives of yao people and builds their living environment and spiritual world.Imagology is an effective means to find out the cultural connotation hidden behind patterns by analyzing the way images are formed,combining with the cultural background,and is often used in the reading and research of visual works.As a common visual work of Yao embroidery in northern Guangdong province,the mythological pattern of the first ancestor is also one of the applicable objects of iconology research.This study aims to deeply understand the cultural connotation of the mythological patterns of the ancestor of Yao embroidery in northern Guangdong by reading and studying them.This paper applies the research results of mythological pattern analysis of yao embroidery ancestor in northern Guangdong province to modern design.By applying the design results let more people know and understand the first Yao Xiu pattern of the north guangdong region culture meaning and value,so as to achieve a positive policy call to drive the intangible cultural heritage of the local culture the development of the design,as a genetic carrier and application design to provide a research path,promote local intangible cultural heritage protection and inheritance research role. |
