Research Of Historical Evolution Of The Chinese Tiger Culture And Its Modeling

This article is focus on the research of tiger culture in different periods in term of politics,ideology,aesthetics,religion,folkways,technical skill and materials to find out the relationship between culture and visual modeling.The reason why choose tiger as the research object were:first of all,tiger is the animal that actually existing,not like dragon and phoenix which were made up.It can help us to analyze the influence of culture on visual modeling more objectively.Secondly,the Chinese tiger culture was widespread and it has a long history,which make it have the research value.The first chapter defines the research object and significance,combs the research status of tiger culture and tiger modeling,and provides the theoretical basis and literature basis for the research of this thesis.The second chapter studies four prehistoric civilizations with tiger culture,analyzes the origin of tiger worship custom and the performance of tiger worship in prehistoric times;the third chapter is the research on the tiger culture and its modeling under the development of Chinese history.It analyzes the time factors that influence the tiger culture and its modeling changes in different historical periods from the Shang and Zhou Dynasties to the Han Dynasty.The fourth chapter is the study of tiger culture and its modeling under the folk belief,exploring the influence of different themes and customs on tiger culture and its modeling.The fifth chapter transcends the obstacles of time.First,it makes a textual research on the original ancestor of folk art tiger,studies the historical prototype of folk art tiger theme,then explores the influence of the development of technology under the same material on the shape,and the influence of different materials on the shape in the same historical period.Finally,it explores the continuation direction of tiger culture in contemporary society and the redesign of tiger shape based on the previous article,try to inherit traditional culture and its pattern.Tiger culture plays an important role in Chinese traditional culture,and has changed a lot in history.This study will explore the elements that affect tiger culture with the clue of time development.For each period of tiger modeling,the author sketches the most representative tiger shape of each era in the way of line drawing,removing the interference of material,technology,historical traces and other factors,and more objectively analyzes the focus and characteristics of tiger modeling in different periods.This thesis takes tiger culture and tiger modeling as starting points to explore the relationship between culture and visual modeling.It is concluded that tiger culture is influenced by political factors,ideology,national religion,folk beliefs and secular emotions,tiger culture influences tiger modeling,and tiger modeling is influenced by technology,materials and region.Tiger modeling visually reflects tiger culture,and each era has corresponding tiger culture and modeling.This conclusion discusses the way of traditional culture’s continuation in contemporary society,as well as model adapted to the aesthetic taste of contemporary society and application adapts to contemporary life style.In the era of great demand for local culture,traditional culture is in urgent need,but traditional culture needs to be integrated into contemporary social and cultural elements before it can be better accepted and inherited.In the era of great demand for local culture,traditional culture is in urgent need,but traditional culture needs to be integrated into contemporary social and cultural elements before it can be better accepted and inherited.Traditional pattern modeling can be better inherited only after the contemporary visual elements are added while the modeling features are retained and applied to the carriers that meet people’s life needs.
