Research On Digital Protection Of Intangible Cultural Heritage Of The Grand Canal In Suzhou Section

The Jiangnan Canal is an important part of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal,and the Suzhou Grand Canal,as the earliest excavation section of the Jiangnan Canal,is also one of the birthplaces of the Grand Canal.The superior geographical location and deep historical precipitation have made the Grand Canal in Suzhou section contain rich and unique cultural heritage resources,including tangible cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage.As a dynamic and lively cultural heritage,intangible cultural heritage not only shows people’s production and life,but also contains Chinese civilization and artisan spirit.Facing the strong impact of modernization and networking,many intangible cultural heritages are on the verge of disappearing and protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage of the Grand Canal in the Suzhou section needs to be taken seriously.In the digital era,the protection of the original form and single channel cannot adapt to the development of the times.The emergence and development of digital technology has created new opportunities for the protection of intangible cultural heritage of the Grand Canal in the Suzhou Section and it is the right approach to combine digital technology with intangible cultural heritage protection.This research takes the digital protection of the intangible cultural heritage of the Grand Canal in Suzhou section as the research content through the methods of literature analysis,field surveys and online questionnaires.The necessity of the digital protection of the intangible cultural heritage of the Suzhou Grand Canal and four digital techniques that can be applied are demonstrated.On the basis of such research,it analyzes the current situation of digital protection of intangible cultural heritage of the Suzhou Grand Canal,and specifically examines the existing problems in digital protection.This research finds that now the digital protection of the Grand Canal in Suzhou Section is being actively promoted,and a number of digital methods have been adopted.It has also produced a certain positive effect on the public.However,there are still some problems that need to be solved urgently in the four aspects of digital protection awareness,database construction,digital display form and digital communication platform.According to the problems existing in the actual work,this article proposes targeted measures from the aspects of strengthening the awareness of digital protection,building a characteristic database,enriching online and offline digital display forms and innovating digital communication forms,in an attempt to provide feasible directions for the future digital protection of intangible cultural heritage of the Grand Canal in Suzhou Section.
