A Discussion On The Cultural Heritage Protection And Utilization Of The Sui And Tang Grand Canal In Anhui

The Sui and Tang Grand Canal in Anhui becomes the first world cultural heritage of wanbei and the third world cultural heritage of Anhui with the China’s Grand Canal were given UNESCO World Heritage Site status in June 2014.It is self-evident that the Sui and Tang Grand Canal in Anhui should be better protected and fully utilized during the times after declared the World Heritage successful.First of all,the paper expounds the development of the Sui and Tang Grand Canal in Anhui.And then analysis the heritage status and value of material cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage of the Sui and Tang Grand Canal in Anhui.Summarized that the cultural heritage of Sui and Tang Grand Canal in Anhui has great influence、high academic value、strong correlation with the public、more scientific archaeological achievements and many sites to be excavated.Then exploring the protection of cultural heritage of the Sui and Tang Grand Canal in Anhui. Firstly, analysis the relationship between the authenticity, integrity and sustainability of the world heritage, it also points out that it is necessary to correctly understand and treat the real-time dynamic management of the World Heritage Committee under the expulsion system. Secondly, analyze the heritage protection case of the MIDI canal and the Erie Canal to summarize and conclude the successful experience of the cultural heritage protection of the canal. Thirdly,deeply analyzing the problems and the subjective and objective reasons of the cultural heritage protection of the Sui and Tang Grand Canal in Anhui.Fourthly,aiming at the main problems,combined with the cultural heritage feature of the Sui and Tang Grand Canal in Anhui,putting forward practical suggestions in four aspects including protect the Canal Heritage Authenticity, integrity as the premise, the government should effectively assume the main responsibility for canal protection,taking more initiatives and more ways to increase efforts to protect, and matters needing attention in the protection of cultural heritage.Thirdly,focusing on the cultural heritage utilization problems of the Sui and Tang Grande Canale in Anhui from four aspects.Firstly,summarizes that the cultural heritage of the Sui and Tang Grand Canal in Anhui has three features and advantages;Secondly,introduce to the successfully utilization case of the world cultural heritage- Xidi and Hongcun and the enlightenment on the protection of cultural heritage of Sui and Tang Grand Canal in Anhui.Thirdly,in-depth analysis the situation、problems and the subjective and objective reasons of the utilization of the cultural heritage of the Sui and Tang Grand Canal in Anhui. Aiming at the main problems, from the perspective of sustainable development and puts forward practical suggestions in five aspects include taking the correct handling of the relationship of heritage protection and doing a good job of canal cultural heritage exhibition、speeding up the development of canal culture and tourism integration、make Huaibei and Suzhou into "canal cities" and heritage canal civilization.Anyway, the protection and management of the cultural heritage of the Sui and Tang Grand Canal in Anhui is more significant and the development and the utilization of the cultural heritage of the Sui and Tang Grand Canal in Anhui is more urgent during the times after declared the World Heritage successful.We should further enhance the sense of responsibility and mission to do the job well.
