As an inalienable part of China,Taiwan did not stop its connection with the motherland during the Japanese colonial period.As the only Chinese-language newspaper in Taiwan during the Japanese occupation period,the Taiwanese People’s Daily newspaper shouldered the heavy responsibility of "seeking the culture of Taiwanese people”and cooperated closely with the Taiwan Cultural Association.A responsible promotion campaign to inspire culture,responsible for publishing publications,promoting modern trends of thought,and jointly promoting the development of the new cultural movement on the island.Using Chinese cultural identity to counter the Japanese culture’s colonization and assimilation of the Taiwanese people,maintaining Taiwan’s Han consciousness,inheriting Chinese sentiments,echoing Taiwan’s various resistance movements to cultivate a large number of living resistance forces for Taiwan’s national liberation.The first chapter of this article introduces the publication of the Taiwan People’s Daily and the background of the launch of the Taiwan New Culture Movement.Firstly,it introduces the basic conditions of the law,education and other social conditions in the island at the beginning of the Japanese occupation,and the major thoughts and movements in the world at that time,as well as the ideological transformation process of the students on the island.It demonstrates the necessity of the publication of the Taiwan People’s Daily and the launch of the Taiwan New Culture Movement.importance.The second chapter focuses on the "Taiwan People’s Daily" and the development of Taiwan’s new culture.First,it introduces the development of the "Taiwan People’s Daily" and introduces the new cultural movement at different stages.Secondly,it introduces the Taiwan Cultural Association’s main promotion agency,the Taiwan Cultural Association,in the issuance of newspapers,the establishment of newspapers,cultural lectures,and opening.Major cultural enlightenment activities such as the Chinese Bookstore revealed the important role of the Taiwan People’s Daily and the Taiwan Cultural Association in the Taiwan New Culture Movement.The third chapter of this paper analyzes the important role of the Enlightenment,Rebels,and Connectors played by the Taiwan People’s Daily in the Taiwan New Culture Movement by using the relevant reports of the Taiwan New Culture Movement in the Taiwan People’s Daily.The fourth chapter analyzes the historical influence of the Taiwan People’s Daily and the Taiwan New Culture Movement on Taiwan as a whole on the first three chapters.In particular,the efforts made to maintain the Han consciousness and inherit the Chinese sentiment in the island and its enlightenment to Taiwan echoed the political movement in Taiwan and made important contributions to the cultivation of the resistance forces of the national liberation movement throughout Taiwan.In a nutshell,this paper hopes to restore the development of the Taiwan People’s Daily and the Taiwan New Culture Movement by returning to the specific background of the publication of the Taiwan People’s Daily and the new cultural movement of Taiwan,and combining the current situation of Taiwanese society.The historical impact on Taiwan’s social development.
