Objective:Prospective evaluation of bone volume changes and stability differences between soft block-shaped deproteinized inorganic bovine bone containing 10%collagen(DBBM-C)and granular deproteinized inorganic bovine bone(DBBM)guided regeneration of peri-implant bone defects. Methods:Patients who underwent implantation surgery in the Implantation Center of Changsha Stomatological Hospital from April 2022 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,a total of 18 cases were assigned by random method, including 10 cases,8 males and 2 females, with an average age of 41.1±3.73 years old,in the soft massive formed collagen bone group. In the granular bone substitute material group, there were 8 cases,4 males and 4 females, with an average age of 47.50±5.48years old.Implant surgery was performed on the proposed implant sites(18),which were classified asⅠ-0 by the relationship between the alveolar bone defect and the expected implant placement site.5-8 mm "V" shaped bone defect occurred on the buccal side after implant placement, and bone regeneration(GBR)was guided simultaneously, with 10 DBBM-C+collagen membrane(CM)and 8 DBBM+CM.Immediately after surgery, six months after surgery and one year after surgery, cone beam computed tomography(CBCT)was performed and analyzed to measure the horizontal bone thickness(HT),45° bone thickness(T45)and bone height(H)of the labial and buccal side of the implant at the cervical level. Results:The values of HT,T45 and H in the immediate postoperative period were different between the two groups, and the differences were not statistically significant;the values of HT and T45 in the DBBM-C group were higher than those in the DBBM group at 6 and 12 months postoperatively,P<0.05,and the differences were statistically significant, and the differences between groups in H values were not statistically significant;the values of HT and T45 changes from the immediate postoperative period to 6 months postoperatively were lower in the DBBM-C group, and the differences were The difference between the two groups was not statistically significant;the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant for HT,T45 and H change values from 6 months to 12 months postoperatively.Conclusion:(1)Within the scope of this study, the stability of bone defect regeneration around implants guided by DBBM-C was better than that of DBBM at 6 months after GBR implantation during the same period. From six months to one year after surgery, the graft volume of the two groups was basically stable.(2)In this study, all implant retention rates were 100%,so it can be considered that within the scope of this study, the type of bone replacement materials had no significant influence on implant retention rates after GBR implantation during the same period.
