| Objective:In this study,the efficacy of Tianxi combination with L-carnitine in the treatment of spleen and kidney insufficiency oligospermia was observed compared with the treatment of L-carnitine alone,and the advantages of Professor He Juqiao’s experience in the treatment of spleen and kidney insufficiency oligospermia were discussed,in order to further elaborate on this formula,provide more effective and safer treatment methods for oligocarnitine patients,and provide new methods for the treatment of oligospermia by traditional Chinese medicine.Contribute to the treatment of male infertility.Methods:This clinical study collected a total of 87 patients diagnosed with splenic and renal insufficiency oligospermia in the outpatient department of the Department of Andrology Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to December 2022,and the cases that met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,including 3 cases in the control group and 4 cases lost to follow-up in the experimental group,a total of 7 cases were shed,and finally a total of 80 cases were included in the study,40 cases each in the experimental group(combination group)and 40 cases in the control group(L-carnitine group).The experimental group was treated with Tianxian Prescription and L-carnitine,Chinese medicine was taken once a day,warm in the morning and evening,and L-carnitine oral liquid(10ml:1 g)10ml,3 times a day;The control group was treated with L-carnitine oral solution(10ml:1 g)10ml,3 times a day;The medication time was 12 weeks,and the semen parameters and TCM syndrome scores of spleen-kidney insufficiency oligospermia were recorded in the two groups,and the clinical statistics of SPSS25.0 software were used to compare between and within the two groups,and the P<0.05 was statistically significant.Results:1.Baseline level before treatment in this clinical study:there were no significant differences in age,semen analysis parameters,and TCM syndrome scores among the groups(P>0.05).2.After 12 weeks of treatment:in terms of semen parameters,mainly sperm concentration and forward movement(PR),both groups were improved compared with before treatment,the difference before and after treatment between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),the difference in comparative scores between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the experimental group(combined drug group)was significantly higher than that of the control group,indicating that the experimental group was significantly better than the control group in improving semen parameters;In terms of TCM syndrome scores for splenic and renal insufficiency oligospermia,the scores of TCM syndrome in both groups decreased compared with before treatment,the differences in TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment in the experimental group were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the difference in TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment in the control group was not statistically significant(P>0.05),indicating that the experimental group was better than the control group in reducing the TCM symptom score.Conclusion:The use of L-carnitine oral liquid alone and the combination of Tianxi Prescription for the treatment of splenic and renal insufficiency oligospermia can increase semen concentration,sperm forward movement and improve TCM symptoms,and the combination of L-Carnitine in improving semen concentration,sperm forward movement and reducing TCM syndrome score and its clinical efficacy are better than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.0 5),and the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of oligospermia has unique advantages,few adverse reactions and high safety. |
