Purpose: To observe the clinical efficacy of Shugan Jianpi Tongluo Decoction in the treatment of patients with primary biliary cholangitis(PBC)of liver depression, spleen deficiency and collateral stasis syndrome.Material and method:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 80 PBC patients who were treated by Professor Lu Bingjiu at the Liver Disease Clinic from September 2015 to September 2021 and met the inclusion criteria.According to whether to take traditional Chinese medicine,40 cases were divided into a treatment group(treated with Shugan Jianpi Tongluo Formula+UDCA)and a control group(treated with UDCA alone). The treatment period is 12 weeks.Observe the changes in liver function indicators(ALT,AST,GGT,ALP,TBIL,DBIL),clinical symptoms, and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of patients at their initial visit and after 12 weeks of treatment.Use SPSS24.0 statistical software to conduct statistical analysis on various indicators.Results:80 patients were ultimately included in the analysis, with 40 in the control group and 40 in the treatment group.1.Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Integral Curative Effect: Data research shows that there are 40 cases in the treatment group,of which 23 cases are significantly effective,13 cases are effective, and 4 cases are ineffective. The effective rate is 57.50%,and the total effective rate is 90.00%.There were 40 cases in the control group,of which 14 were significantly effective,15 were effective, and 11 were ineffective. The effective rate was35.00%,and the total effective rate was 72.50%.After 12 weeks of treatment, there was a significant difference in traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores between the two groups.Through two independent sample t-tests,it was found that p=0.000<0.05,and the difference was statistically significant. The treatment group had better efficacy than the control group.2.Main clinical indicators: Both the control group and the treatment group showed significant improvement in various liver function indicators after 12 weeks of treatment compared to before treatment. Two independent samples were used for t-test.After 12 weeks of treatment, the treatment group showed a decrease in ALT,AST,ALP,and TB compared to the control group(p<0.05),with ALT,GGT,TBIL,and DBIL improving particularly significantly(p<0.001),indicating a significant therapeutic effect.According to the evaluation criteria of Western medicine indicators, the treatment group showed significant improvement in 30 cases, effective in 8 cases, and ineffective in 2 cases, with a total effective rate of 95%.In the control group,21 cases showed significant improvement,10 cases were effective, and 9 cases were ineffective. The total effective rate was 77.5%,indicating that the treatment group had significantly better efficacy than the control group. Conclusion:The combination of Shugan Jianpi Tongluo Formula and UDCA can effectively improve the liver function indicators and clinical symptoms of PBC patients with liver stagnation, spleen deficiency, and collateral stasis syndrome, and improve their quality of life. The combination therapy regimen is superior to using UDCA alone.
