Purpose: To explore the clinical characteristics of choushi insomnia patients(syndrome of Yin deficiency Yang hyperactivity),and observe the clinical effect of treating choushi insomnia(syndrome of Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity)from Gan.Material and method:A total of 90 patients with insomnia with Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity, mainly characterized by easy waking up in the morning and inability to fall asleep for more than half an hour after waking, were selected from the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Yuehe Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 1,2021 to May 1,2022,and divided into observation group(treated with characteristic combination of acupuncture and medicine based on Gan),control group(treated with traditional Chinese medicine)and Western medicine group(treated with simple western medicine),with 30 cases in each group. The western medicine group was given 2mg dexzopiclone tablet orally once a day, while the control group was given simple Chinese medicine treatment. The observation group was given acupuncture on the acupoints once a day on the basis of the control group. The patients in the three groups were given lifestyle intervention, and 4 courses of treatment were completed within 2 months.Baseline data, safety indicators,PSQI score, syndrome score and blood pressure level of patients were collected to analyze the influence of various factors on sleep and blood pressure of patients with choushi insomnia(syndrome of Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity),and to compare the differences in PSQI score, syndrome score, blood pressure level and safety of the three groups.Results:1.Smoking history, drinking history and cerebrovascular history were correlated with PSQI score(P<0.05);systolic blood pressure was correlated with PSQI score(P<0.05);diastolic blood pressure level was significantly correlated with PSQI score(P<0.01).2.The diastolic blood pressure level of males was higher than that of females(P<0.05);age has an effect on systolic blood pressure level, systolic blood pressure levels in patients less than or equal to 60 years of age;systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and pulse pressure difference of patients with smoking history were higher than those of patients without smoking history(P<0.05);the systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure of patients with a history of alcohol consumption were higher than those of patients without a history of alcohol consumption(P<0.05);the systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and pulse differential pressure of patients with cerebrovascular history were higher than those of patients without cerebrovascular history(P<0.05).3.The syndrome score of the three groups after treatment was better than that before treatment, and the difference between the control group and the observation group was significant(P<0.01).The total score of syndromes in the western medicine group, the control group and the observation group was significantly different(P<0.01),and the result of the observation group was better than the control group and the Western medicine group. The total effective rate of the western medicine group was 70.00%,that of the control group was 83.33%,and that of the observation group was 96.67%,showing differences among the three groups(P<0.05).4.The PSQI score of the three groups after treatment was better than that before treatment. There was a difference between the western medicine group and the control group before and after treatment(P<0.05),and the difference in the observation group was significant(P<0.01).After treatment,PSQI score of the three groups was significantly different(P<0.01),and PSQI score of the observation group was better than that of the control group. The effective rate of sleep improvement was 70.00% in the western medicine group,76.67% in the control group, and 93.33% in the observation group. There was significant difference among the three groups(P<0.01).5.The comparison of diastolic blood pressure before and after treatment was different in the control group(P<0.05),and the comparison of systolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after treatment was different in the observation group(P<0.05).After treatment, there were differences in systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure among the three groups(P<0.05).The result of control group was better than that of western medicine group, and the result of observation group was better than that of control group and Western medicine group. The total effective rate of blood pressure was 6.67% in the western medicine group,46.67% in the control group,and50.00% in the observation group, showing no difference among the three groups(P>0.05).6.All patients in the three groups had adverse events and no abnormal safety indexes.Conclusion:1.The majority of the patients of choushi insomnia(syndrome of Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity)were male, young and middle-aged,had a history of smoking and drinking, and had a history of cerebrovascular disease. The majority of the patients had a course of 3 months to 1 year. The enrolled patients were easy to wake up at choushi and difficult to fall asleep after waking up,and most patients were accompanied by night sweats and dyspnea.Smoking, drinking, cerebrovascular disease and abnormal systolic and diastolic blood pressure levels can lead to the occurrence or aggravation of choushi insomnia;gender, age, smoking history, drinking history and cerebrovascular history are closely related to the blood pressure level of patients with choushi insomnia.2.The combination of acupuncture and medicine based on Gan has a good clinical effect on the patients with choushi insomnia(syndrome of Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity),significantly improving the patients’ sleep problems and abnormal blood pressure to a certain extent, and significantly improving the patients’ syndromes with good safety.3.The combination of acupuncture and medicine for treating choushi insomnia(syndrome of Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity)from the perspective of Gan is superior to the clinical efficacy of oral Chinese medicine and dexzopiclone tablet in improving sleep, syndrome and blood pressure, with good safety.4.The clinical efficacy of dexzopiclonone tablet in improving sleep, syndrome and blood pressure is superior to that of the empirical prescription of treating choushi insomnia from the perspective of Gan.
