| Purpose:Retrospective analysis was conducted to understand the pathogenic related characteristics of viral pneumonia in children at the stage of excess heat syndrome,and to compare the efficacy and advantages of Xiao’er Feire Kechuan Granule combined with conventional Western medicine in treating viral pneumonia in children(heat pathogen blocking lung syndrome),so as to further improve the treatment plan for treating viral pneumonia in children with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine.Material and method:The case data were selected from 372 children who met the diagnosis of viral pneumonia in Shenyang Children’s Hospital and the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2022 to January 2023.All the children collected met the diagnostic criteria for viral pneumonia in the "Expert Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Viral Pneumonia in Children with Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine(formulated in 2019)" and "Zhu Futang Practical Pediatrics",8th Edition,Retrospective analysis was conducted on the medical records with positive detection of a single pathogen in the collected data,statistical analysis was conducted on the age,season,clinical manifestation characteristics,and distribution characteristics of TCM syndrome types of different pathogens,and clinical efficacy evaluation was conducted on the treatment of children’s viral pneumonia with Xiao’er Feire Kechuan Granule.Results:1.There were significant differences in the detection rate of seasonal pathogens in72 children with viral pneumonia,with MPV and HRV having the highest detection rate in autumn,followed by winter;COVID-19,RSV,and FLU B are mainly distributed in winter;FLU A is mainly distributed in summer;Bo V virus has the highest positive rate in autumn.2.In terms of age distribution,MPV and HRV pneumonia mostly occur in preschool children;RSV pneumonia often occurs in FLU Ants and young children,and the positive rate gradually decreases with age;There was no statistical difference between the distribution of other pathogens and age(P>0.05).3.In the analysis of clinical characteristics,fever and cough are the main symptoms of each pathogen,and wheezing is prominent in RSV,HRV,and MPV;In the comparison of the distribution of TCM syndrome types,the distribution of TCM syndrome types of various pathogens is mainly characterized by heat evil blocking the lung,followed by phlegm heat blocking the lung.4.In this study,204 cases of viral pneumonia in children(syndrome of heat pathogenic obstruction of the lung)were included.In the comparison of the total effective rate of the disease,the treatment group had a 99.02% better effective rate than the control group’s 96.08%,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);In the comparison of the remission time of single symptoms in traditional Chinese medicine,the difference between the treatment group and the control group was analyzed,and it was concluded that the treatment group using Xiao’er Feire Kechuan Granule was superior to the control group in terms of the remission time of six symptoms: cough,pharyngalgia,fever,yellow phlegm,dyspnea,and flushing;In the comparison of scores before and after clinical treatment,there was a significant difference in scores before and after treatment in the treatment group.Conclusion:1.The pathogenic distribution of TCM excess heat syndrome in 372 children with viral pneumonia is related to age and season.The pathogenic distribution is mainly MPV,HRV,and RSV,with a high incidence in autumn and winter;The onset age is mostly in the early school age,and the syndrome type of traditional Chinese medicine is mainly characterized by heat pathogen blocking the lung.2.Xiao’er Feire Kechuan Granule is effective in treating viral pneumonia in children(heat pathogenic lung syndrome),especially in relieving heat and asthma.Combined treatment with western medicine can improve the clinical cure rate and reduce the time for clinical symptom relief. |
