Purpose: This study is based on the patients with maintenance hemodialysis(MHD)in blood Purification Center of Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The changes of nutritional status and TCM syndrome score of all the enrolled patients before and after 6 months are observed. To explore the improvement of nutritional status of MHD patients by behavioral intervention and health management of TRADITIONAL Chinese medicine, and to provide reference for clinical prevention and treatment.Material and method: In this study,60 patients from The Blood Purification Center of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital from September 1,2021 to February 28,2022 were randomly divided into control group and experimental group.2 patients died during the observation,30 patients in the final experimental group and 28 patients in the control group. The control group was given health education and hemodialysis basic treatment program, and the experimental group was given personalized DIET of TRADITIONAL Chinese medicine,Taijiquan exercise,TCM five-tone therapy intervention and health management on this basis. The patients were followed up once every half month. The changes of body mass index(BMI),serum albumin(ALB),hemoglobin(Hb),creatinine(Scr),urea nitrogen(BUN),triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),blood potassium, blood phosphorus, blood calcium,MQSGA score and TCM syndrome score before and after 6months were observed. To analyze the clinical efficacy of behavioral intervention and health management in improving nutritional status of MHD patients.Results:1.Test in the first two group of patients with ordinary materials such as gender, age, age of dialysis and nutritional status indicators BMI(propagated),serum albumin, hemoglobin(Hb),creatinine(Scr),urea nitrogen(BUN),triglycerides(TG),total cholesterol(TC),blood potassium, phosphorus, calcium,MQSGA score and TCM syndrome integral no statistical difference(P > 0.05).2.After 6 months, the two groups were compared using covariance analysis, after adjusting the pre-treatment indicators,P<0.05,indicating blood calcium, blood phosphorus,ALB,MQSGA,TCM syndrome score, after treatment, there were statistical differences between the two groups. Two sample T test was used for difference comparison.P<0.05,ALB,MQSGA,TCM syndrome score and the difference before and after treatment were statistically different between the two groups. The increase of albumin,TCM syndrome score and MQSGA in experimental group were significantly lower than those in control group.3.Among the 28 control patients,17 were aged.65 years of age,11 patients ≥65 years of age.The P< scores of the two groups were compared before treatment.0.05 was statistically different,so before treatment,TCM syndrome scores of different ages were different, age >The TCM syndrome score of 65 years old was higher; Two sample T test was used for difference comparison.P<0.05 showed statistical difference, and there was no statistical difference in all indexes of different ages before and after treatment. For the 30 patients in the experimental group, there were 20 patients ≤65 years old and 10 patients >65 years old. Before treatment, the SCR of the two groups was statistically different(P<0.05).Therefore,before treatment,SCR of different ages was different, and the SCR of those >65 years old was lower. Two sample T test was used for difference comparison.P<0.05 showed statistical difference, and scores of different ages showed statistical difference.Scores of age ≤ 65 years decreased significantly. There was no statistical difference in all other indexes before and after treatment.Conclusion:1.TCM behavioral intervention and health management can improve the clinical symptoms of MHD patients.2.The behavioral intervention and health management program of TCM can improve the level of hemoglobin and blood calcium and reduce the level of blood phosphorus.3.TCM behavioral intervention and health management have high safety,no economic pressure on patients and obvious clinical effects, which are worthy of further in-depth research and large-scale clinical promotion.
