Purpose: Through the collation and analysis of medicines with warming properties,prescriptions containing warming medicines and related articles in the book "Treatise on Febrile Diseases",we aim to sort out the experience of using warming medicines in Zhang Zhongjing’s book "Treatise on Febrile Diseases",explore their rules and characteristics,summarize their therapeutic features,inherit and carry forward the essence of Zhongjing’s use of warming medicines,and provide a certain literature basis and theoretical support for clinical application.Methods: The main method is to use literature research and statistical methods to screen out drugs with a warming nature based on the nature and flavour of the drugs recorded in Shennong Bencao Jing and Zhongming Bu Lu,and to collate the prescriptions and related articles containing warming drugs in the Treatise on Febrile Diseases,combining the annotations of medical texts,the writings on materia medica and modern pharmacological and clinical research data to explain and analyse the application of the six meridians,the commonly used prescriptions,the common symptoms,the drugs used in high frequency,the distribution of the nature and flavour,and the characteristics of the combination of drugs,in order to explore the application pattern of warming drugs in the Treatise on Febrile Diseases.Results:There are 24 flavors of warming drugs in the Treatise on Typhoid Fever,involving 87 prescriptions and 168 articles.In terms of their application,warming drugs are used in all the six meridians;the common formulas containing warming drugs include Si Wei Tang and its analogues for returning Yang to save the rebellion,Li Zhong Wan and its analogues for warming the middle of the body and dispelling cold,Gui Zhi Gan Cao Tang and its analogues for warming the heart and Yang,Zhen Wu Tang and Pei Zi Tang for warming the kidney and Yang,Xiao Qing Long Tang for warming the lung and resolving drinks,Wu Zhu Yu Tang for warming the liver and stomach,and Ling Gui for warming Yangand promoting water;among the articles containing warming drugs,the four most frequently appearing symptoms are vicious cold,syncope,pain and diuresis.From the point of view of application characteristics,in Treatise on Febrile Diseases,pungent-warm drugs are the majority,followed by sweet-warm drugs,bitter-warm drugs,and sour-warm drugs and salty-warm drugs are seldom used.Among them,the drugs with high frequency(frequency > 10)are Gui Zhi,Ginger,Dry Ginger,Monkshood,Pinellia and Ma Huang.In the aspect of compatibility and application,it has the characteristics of combining warm drugs with hot drugs,combining warm drugs with tonic drugs,combining warm drugs with cold drugs,and adapting to the characteristics of diseases and drugs.From the application points of attention,Zhongjing pays attention to the examination of drugs,and only gives warm drugs when they should be used,and should not be used when they are warm.Don’t forget to accurately distinguish the similarities and differences of drugs.Although warm drugs have the same properties,their specific functions are different,so they can’t be generalized.Conclusions:1.Zhongjing made good use of warming medicines,which were used in all six meridians and treated a wide range of diseases;2.Zhongjing applied warming drugs,through the combination of formulas,so that they have different effects such as returning Yang to save the rebellion,warming the middle and dispelling cold,warming the heart and Yang,warming the kidney and Yang,warming the lungs and dissolving drinks,warming the liver and stomach,and warming Yang and promoting water,which became the foundation of the warming method;3.The common symptoms of warm-heat drugs in the Treatise on Typhoid are vicious cold,syncope,pain and diarrhea,and the evidence mechanism involves external wind and cold,internal cold,cold clotting and blood stasis,internal stagnation of water and drink,deficiency of Wei-Yang and deficiency of Yuan-Yang;4.Zhongjing applies warm-heat drugs,especially pungent ones,and most often usessix flavors of cinnamon,ginger,ginger,saposhnikovia,half asia and ephedra,with the characteristics of warm-heat,warm and tonic,warm and clear,and homeopathic medicine.5.Zhongjing applied warm-heat medicine with emphasis on the examination of evidence and precise identification of medicine. |
