Research On The Characteristics Of Disease Diagnosis And Treatment In "Huoyouxinshu

Objective: To explore the characteristics of treatment based on syndrome differentiation of pediatric diseases in Huo Young Xin Shu,and to provide reference for clinical practice.Methods: Based on the new edition of Huo Young Xin Shu published by People’s Medical Publishing House in June 2006,this paper sorted out,summarized and analyzed the academic discussion,experience of treatment based on syndrome differentiation and prescription application of the book.According to the four major syndromes of Pediatrics in the old times and the four diseases of children that are currently the focus of prevention and treatment in China,combined with the discussion of relevant diseases and syndromes in the volume,select the corresponding chapters,sort out and summarize the characteristics of their principles,methods,prescriptions and drugs respectively,and analyze the drug frequency statistics and prescription formation rules of the selected prescriptions with the help of the traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance auxiliary system.The representative prescriptions such as Baijie powder,amber Baolong pill,Wuling powder and Sihuang powder were selected for specific analysis and discussion.Results:1.The characteristics of this book can be reflected in its medical theory,treatment based on syndrome differentiation and application etc.,which are roughly the following aspects:(1)Combination of four examinations,especially the observation;(2)Put forward the principle of syndrome treatment in priority,and pay attention to stage and sequential treatment;(3)Follow the thought of syndrome differentiation of Zang Fu organs,tonify deficiency and reduce excess,pay attention to the deficiency of children’s lung,spleen and kidney,take drugs to dissolve exterior evil first,pay attention to the prenatal and postnatal base of life,regulate and tonify spleen and kidney;(4)In the process of disease treatment,attention should be paid to the qi activity,and the key point is regulating qi activity;(5)Emphasize treatment in accordance with three categories of etiologic factors;(6)This book makes good use of external treatment methods.There are many forms of external treatment,various ways of use,refined medication;(7)Pay attention to medication;(8)The book advocates the scientific concept of feeding,giving priority to prevention,combining prevention and treatment,early treatment and paying attention to nursing.2.In the treatment of specific diseases and syndromes,21 prescriptions were counted in the part of acute convulsion.The more frequently used single medicine(more than 20%of the total prescriptions)were: licorice,Fructus aurantii,rhubarb,ginseng,Poria cocos.Multi use qi tonifying,qi regulating,heat clearing,fire purging and accumulation eliminating drugs.3.There are 15 prescriptions in the part of slow convulsion.The most frequently used single drugs are Atractylodes macrocephala,licorice,ginseng,Poria cocos,tangerine peel,Pinellia ternata,cinnamon,clove and Nanxing.Multi use drugs such as tonifying qi,regulating qi,warming and resolving cold phlegm.4.There are 14 prescriptions in the statistics of chancre syndrome.The most frequently used single drugs are licorice,areca nut,scholar,ginseng,tangerine peel,Poria cocos,Croton,green peel and Angelica sinensis.Multi use qi tonifying,qi regulating,insect killing and accumulation eliminating drugs.5.According to the statistics of Ding Xi,there are 16 prescriptions.The most frequently used single drugs are licorice,tangerine peel,ginseng,betel nut,Amomum villosum,green bark,zedoary turmeric,clove,Atractylodes macrocephala,woody incense and Sparganium.Use more qi tonifying,qi regulating and blood activating drugs.6.There are 19 prescriptions for hemp and pox.The most frequently used single drugs are licorice,ginseng,angelica,cinnamon,ephedra,white peony,chuanxiong and red peony.Use more qi tonifying,blood tonifying and blood activating drugs.7.There are 14 prescriptions for cough.The most frequently used single drugs are licorice,ginseng,Pinellia ternata,Platycodon grandiflorum,Fructus aurantii,red Poria cocos,almond,Ligusticum chuanxiong,Atractylodes macrocephala,Nanxing,Poria cocos,ephedra and Bupleurum.Use more drugs for tonifying qi,regulating qi,resolving phlegm and relieving cough.8.According to the statistics of diarrhea,there are 28 prescriptions,and the most frequently used single drugs are: licorice,tangerine peel,ginseng,Amomum villosum,green bark,Atractylodes macrocephala,wood fragrance,Fructus aurantii,Magnolia officinalis.Multi use drugs for tonifying qi,regulating qi and removing dampness.9.There are 15 prescriptions in sweat syndrome.The most frequently used single drugs are licorice,ginseng,Poria cocos,Atractylodes macrocephala,tangerine peel,yam,Pinellia ternata and Fructus aurantii.Use drugs for tonifying qi,regulating qi and resolving phlegm.10.There are 6 prescriptions in the pigeon-breast part,and the most frequently used single drugs are Pinellia ternata,Fructus aurantii,licorice,Nanxing and ginseng.Use more drugs for regulating qi and resolving phlegm.Conclusion:1.When identifying and treating pediatric diseases and syndromes,Huo You Xin Shu has characteristics in four diagnoses,dialectical methods,treatment principles,treatment methods,prescription selection and medication,medication methods,and disease prevention and so on.2.In combination with relevant medical theories and statistics of prescriptions and medicines,this book discusses the treatment of the two syndromes of acute and slow convulsion,focusing on tonifying the spleen and stomach,regulating the qi activity.And use medicine for acute convulsion,inject diarrhea heat and dispel excess,and slow convulsion tends to warm the spleen and kidney,warm dryness and dissipate phlegm.3.For the treatment of chancre syndrome and Ding Xi,pay attention to tonifying deficiency and reducing excess,use both anti accumulation insecticides and spleen strengthening drugs.Pay more attention to the smooth regulation of qi and blood,and use products for regulating qi and activating blood.4.For the treatment of numbness and smallpox,pay attention to the harmony of qi and blood,comply with the qi activity,and use more things that replenish qi and blood and warm and dredge.5.For the treatment of cough,pay attention to the two internal organs of lung and spleen,deficiency and excess,and use more drugs to strengthen the spleen and replenish qi,disperse lung qi for lowering adverse qi,relieve cough and phlegm.6.For the treatment of diarrhea,use the medicine of invigorating and warming qi,replenishing qi and warming the middle-jiao,regulating qi,transporting the spleen and removing dampness.7.For the treatment of sweat syndrome,it is always based on the spleen and stomach,especially on regulating qi.Medicines is often used to tonify the spleen and stomach,dry dampness and regulate qi.8.For the treatment of five weaknesses,pay attention to the deficiency of the prenatal and postnatal base of life,regulate and supplement the spleen and kidney,and supplement both qi and blood.9.For the treatment of pigeon-breast,treatment of regulate qi-flowing for eliminating phlegm and loosen the chest.
