Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Blood-heat Syndrome In Psoriasis Vulgaris With Water Buffalo Horn Beehive Decoctio

Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of water bull’s horn bee room decoction combined with external washing for the treatment of blood fever syndrome of psoriasis vulgaris through a clinical trial.Methods:A total of 60 patients who volunteered to participate in this clinical trial and met the inclusion criteria of typical psoriatic hemofever vulgaris syndrome were selected from cases attending the dermatology specialist outpatient clinic of Hengyang traditional Chinese medicine hospital in China in 2020.All patients were randomly divided into two groups(30 in each group)treated with Buffalo Horn Bee Room Decoction and Modified Xijiao Dihuang Decoction,and the two groups received internal medicine plus external washing at the same time,Trial treatment for4 weeks,The scores of lesional area,erythema,phosphorus scaling,infiltration and TCM syndromes before and after treatment and adverse effects after medication were recorded.Results:(1)Before treatment,there was no significant difference in age,gender or disease duration between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)After treatment,Buffalo Horn Bee Room Decoction group showed significant efficacy(P<0.01)in improving the lesion area,severity of skin lesions,PASI score,and TCM syndrome,with an overall clinical response rate of89.66%;The overall clinical response rate of the patients treated with the application of the Modified Xijiao Dihuang Decoction group was 46.43%,It was suggested that the clinical effect of using Buffalo Horn Bee Room Decoction group was significantly better than that of Modified Xijiao Dihuang Decoction group(P<0.01).(3)The recurrence rates of the two groups were compared,and the recurrence rate in the Buffalo Horn Bee Room Decoction group was lower than that in the Modified Xijiao Dihuang Decoction group(P<0.05).Conclusion: In the treatment of blood heat syndrome of psoriasis vulgaris,The clinical effect was significantly better in the Buffalo Horn Bee Room Decoction group than in the Modified Xijiao Dihuang Decoction group.It has been proved that the treatment of psoriasis with blood heat syndrome with Buffalo Horn Bee Room Decoction is effective,safe and low recurrence rate.It can be widely applied in clinic.
