| On the basis of obtaining first-hand data from a field questionnaire survey of livestock and poultry farmers in Guizhou, the current situation of livestock and poultry farming pollution management among livestock and poultry farmers in Guizhou is analysed from macro and micro perspectives through descriptive statistical analysis using finite rationality theory, behavioural decision theory and environmental regulation theory, etc. At the same time, the discharge coefficient method is used to estimate the amount of pollution from livestock and poultry farming in Guizhou and to carry out load warning. In addition, using logistic models and other methods, the ecological treatment willingness, treatment inputs and source-process-end treatment behaviours of livestock and poultry farmers’ farming pollution in Guizhou were empirically analysed. The main conclusions of the study are: firstly,by calculating the pig manure equivalent land-bearing load and its N and P load,it is concluded that livestock farming pollution in Guizhou province is large.Among them,Anshun,Tongren,Qiandongnan,Qiandongnan and Qiannan are the most polluted;Zunyi and Liupanshui are more polluted;Bijie is polluted;and Guiyang is slightly polluted.Except for Guiyang City, all other areas have exceeded the N and P loadings, which indicates that livestock and poultry farming pollution poses a great risk of contamination to agricultural arable land in Guizhou Province.Secondly, the perception of livestock health impacts, perception of livestock pollution control, training on farming pollution control, the existence of regulations on farming excreta, and the availability of subsidies for livestock pollution policy control had a positive and significant effect on the willingness of livestock farmers in Guizhou to ecologically control farming pollution, and the identity attributes of farmers, perception of the degree of pollution in the surrounding area, the percentage of farming income, and the annual cost of ecologically controlling farming pollution had a negative and significant effect.Thirdly, there is a negative significant effect of the impact on livestock health, livestock pollution control, and how to deal with sick and dead livestock on the ecological treatment input of livestock farmers’ farming pollution in Guizhou, and there is a positive significant effect of the degree of pollution in the surrounding area, willingness to treat farming pollution, and whether there are regulations on farming excrement.Fourth, literacy, identity attributes, and farming income share had a significant positive effect on livestock farming wastewater pollution management behaviour, and farming type, training in farming pollution management, and willingness to manage farming waste ecologically had a significant negative effect.Identity attributes, years of farming, farming income share, training in farming pollution management, and willingness to increase inputs for ecological management of farming pollution have a significant positive effect on the pollution management behaviour of sick and dead livestock, and literacy has a significant negative effect. There are significant differences between the factors influencing the choice of composting and fermentation as fertilizer, direct discharge to foul drains, direct application to farmland, building biogas digesters and discarding treatment behaviour.Based on the above findings, corresponding countermeasures are proposed: first, rational layout and planning of livestock breeding scale, advocating the combination of farming and breeding;strengthening the supervision of emission system and strictly investigating illegal farms;implementing subsidy policy and giving policy encouragement;promoting clean breeding of livestock and poultry to reduce waste emission at source;improving feed conversion ratio to reduce livestock pollution emission.Secondly, increase training on pollution control to improve farming specialisation;improve relevant regulations and management systems and increase subsidies for pollution control policies;appropriately expand the scale of farming to increase farming income of farmers.Third, the government should increase publicity to raise awareness of environmental protection;provide subsidies for pollution control costs;improve the scientific and cultural level of farmers and strengthen training in pollution treatment techniques.Fourth, control livestock pollution from the source of farming;control livestock pollution from the process of farming;control livestock pollution from the end of farming. |
