| Yunyang Flower Drum Opera is a unique local opera genre in the Shiyan(Yunyang)area.It originated and developed in the Yunyang mountainous area,where the popular Liangshan tune,Bacha,and Flower Drum Opera ditty from the Jingzhou and Xiangyang areas converged with the exiled court music culture of the Tang Dynasty.In 2007,it was listed in the Hubei Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage List."My Hanshui Hometown" is one of the representative modern plays of Yunyang Flower Drum Opera.It tells a series of touching stories that occurred during the relocation of the residents of Hanqiao Village carried out by town Mayor Yin Siyuan in the context of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project.This paper aims to introduce the origin and development of Yunyang Flower Drum Opera,study the artistic characteristics of "My Hanshui Hometown," and explore its significance and inheritance protection.The paper is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which analyzes the research significance of "My Hanshui Hometown," reviews the relevant literature on Yunyang Flower Drum Opera and "My Hanshui Hometown" in China,proposes a comprehensive research method,and puts forward the research value of Yunyang Flower Drum Opera and "My Hanshui Hometown." The second part analyzes the origin and historical development of Yunyang Flower Drum Opera,and outlines the creation background and plot of "My Hanshui Hometown." The third part analyzes the artistic characteristics of "My Hanshui Hometown" from the aspects of melody,folk customs,and stage setting.The fourth part comprehensively and deeply explores and analyzes the important role and value played by "My Hanshui Hometown" in the historical period it was set in.Based on the investigation,the current development status of Yunyang Flower Drum Opera is elaborated,and constructive and feasible measures are proposed to address the survival crisis it faces. |
