The aging of China’s population is becoming more and more serious.With the shortage of labor resources and the weakening of the function of home care,the pressure on family care and social management has increased,while the popularity of the Internet has also deepened the loneliness of "empty nesters".The popularity and development of robots in recent years has provided new ideas to solve the elderly problem.In the future,robots will not only be used in industrial manufacturing,but also provide convenient services for the elderly in their homes.Aging service robots are an important topic under the development of artificial intelligence and have broad development prospects.Currently,most service robot products on the market are mainly "technology-oriented",focusing on the development of functions and technologies,but lacking in-depth research on user needs,as well as evaluation and improvement of human-robot interaction at a later stage,which has led to low user satisfaction and lack of market competitiveness.In the long run,service robot product design should pay more attention to the user’s position in the design,so that the product has a high practicality and emotional expression.This paper aims to combine innovative concepts with scientific research methods under the design guidance of product semantics.Firstly,through the analysis of the physiological and psychological characteristics of the target group,the basic demand points of functional design are obtained.Secondly,the mapping relationship between product features and semantics is analyzed through the semantic difference method,and the semantic symbols of the service robot for the aging population are studied and analyzed from various aspects such as morphological semantics,color semantics and emotional semantics.Finally,from the perspective of semantics,the service robot is designed to meet the user’s aesthetic and psychological needs.By conveying emotions through semantic symbols,the service robot can meet the all-round and multi-level needs of the elderly group while creating competitiveness among the same brands.The research results can provide a practically meaningful reference for the design,improvement and innovation of the service robot form for the aging population. |
