| This paper mainly focuses on the exploration of thematic printmaking from the perspective of the new era.China’s thematic printmaking has gone through the process of criticizing reality,reproducing life,awakening self-consciousness and applying new media to practice,and the spiritual connotation and expression of thematic printmaking have been constantly updated,and new vitality has bloomed in the new era.This paper first defines the concept of "theme" in the introduction part,and then sorts out and studies the evolution and development of thematic printmaking in different historical perspectives,and deeply explores the background factors affecting its development.The creation of thematic printmaking has gone through the evolution from the Europeanized style formed by the initial influence of Western printmaking,to the revolutionary and struggle evolution after the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War,to the lyrical appearance with regional characteristics after the founding of New China,to the aesthetic enlightenment after the reform and opening up,and finally to the development process of diversity and flowers in the new era.Secondly,to seek the exploration space of thematic printmaking in the perspective of the new era,thematic printmaking should shoulder the responsibility and mission of improving national cultural self-confidence and sense of identity in the context of high-speed information exchange and integration of globalization,and make unique contributions to the strategy of cultural power.It is necessary to achieve a balance between sociality,popularity,and reality,and fully demonstrate the importance and relationship between the three.The theme of the creation should reflect the spirit of the times and the national spirit,enhance cultural self-confidence,contribute to the promotion of the strategy of cultural power,and seek cultural identity through globalization.Artistic creation must proceed from the people’s politics,economy,production and life,improve the spiritual and cultural life of the people,and realize their true social value.Then,combined with the author’s own attempts at the creation of thematic prints,this paper analyzes the reasons for choosing the form of expression of comic strips and the suitability of the theme of creation,thinks about the text of creation,the selection of sub-shots,the creation and expression of the beauty of the picture,and thinks about the spiritual connotation and social significance of thematic creation,and strives to generate new thinking and exploration for future creators to create thematic prints through the research on this topic. |
