Ren Bonian is very rich in color elements,including the color values of Ming and Qing literati painting,as well as the bright colors of folk art and Western color elements in artistic trends,and the integration of these color elements brings Ren Bonian a new color expression mode.Ren Bonian as a master of Qianhai School painting,is the leader of the Chinese painting scene in this period,under the choice of the times,Ren Bonian will integrate Eastern and Western art into its own color mode,creating a new color expression mode of flower and bird painting,the formation of Ren Bonian flower and bird color pattern also marks the transformation of Chinese flower and bird painting from modern to modern.This paper analyzes the creative medium,physical carrier and color effect performance from the similarities and differences between watercolor painting and Chinese painting,and practices the same possibility of watercolor painting as Chinese painting.Then the learning experience of Ren Bonian is sorted out,the source of his painting elements is analyzed,the reasons for the formation of Ren Bonian flower and bird painting language are explored,and the core of his color theory is grasped.Later,the expression of watercolor techniques in Ren Bonian’s works is analyzed through the analysis of works,and the causes of the picture effect are explored from the perspective of watercolor painting.Finally,taking the color art value of Ren Bonian flower and bird paintings as a foothold,the influence of Ren Bonian on future generations of art creators is sorted out.Thinking about how Chinese watercolor painting and Chinese painting can learn from each other,base themselves on the current era,and open up an artistic path for future development.
