Windows are an indispensable part of buildings from beginning to end.Ventilation and lighting are the most basic functions of Windows.In addition to their practical significance,Windows also have high aesthetic research value.From the perspective of architecture,the Windows in different regions and different times are often responsible for conveying the spirit of architecture,highlighting the sense of The Times and regionalism of architecture,which itself is a unique beauty of form.As far as painting is concerned,the window is the intersection between the inside and the outside,and its characteristics can be flexibly used in the picture to create a richer sense of hierarchy.In the process of painting,it can play a positive role in organizing the composition structure,creating the sense of space and guiding the viewer’s line of sight.The window always permeates the artist’s unique aesthetic taste in his artistic works,which is a kind of distillation and embodiment of the spirit.The painter can metaphorize the emotion through the "window".Therefore,the theme of the window is indeed of high painting creation value.Based on the development of window in painting art,this paper firstly interprets the works of art in different periods and styles in detail,studies the specific performance of window in painting works,and expounds its aesthetic value.Secondly,it analyzes the unique artistic language of artists about window from different angles,thus generating inspiration for the author’s creation.After researching materials and collecting materials,the author defines the theme and direction of creation,learns and draws on the artistic characteristics of different artists,improves the creative ability,breaks through the original way of thinking,and finally gradually forms his own creative style.
