The Singing And Role Of "Begonia" In The Opera "Ymeng Mountain"

The national opera Yimeng Mountain premiered on Dec 19,2018.It was composed by famous composer Luan Kai and written by Wang Xiaoling and Li Wenxu.After the premiere,it caused a huge response,especially the heroine Haitang’s touching verse,even when the curtain call,the audience stayed for a long time,singing the theme song "Wait for me,dear people" with the actors,the grand scene,is one of the outstanding representative works of national opera in the new period.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter of the opera’s main characters,plot,songwriter’s life and creation process,the national style of creation.The second chapter analyzes the portrayal of the heroine Haitang in the opera Yimeng Mountain from two aspects of drama and music.In the aspect of drama image,it summarizes the characteristics of Haitang,such as lively,kind and strong,through the opera content.In the aspect of music image,through the analysis of the main passages,stage sets and stage performances,it illustrates how to make the characters more vivid and full.The third chapter analyzes the music and singing aspects of the soprano Haitang’s two solo selections,"Wait for Me,Dear One" and "Rain and Rain".Generally speaking,at present,there are not many literatures on the research of national opera Yimeng Mountain,and the research on the musical image of opera heroine Haitang is mostly a single analysis of music ontology.This paper creatively analyzes the building of Haitang’s musical image from three aspects,including the main choir,stage setting and stage performance.In addition,this paper also through their own opera observation,research and learning combined with a large number of relevant literature,summed up the three typical characters of Haitang.
