The murals of the Tashilhunpo Monastery in Tibet are a jewel in the garden of art on the roof of the world.Its art forms are all-encompassing and profound.As the largest monastery in Shigatse,Tashilhunpo Monastery has well inherited and developed the excellent Chinese mural art.The multi-regional nature of its artistic language and the diversity of murals have unique research value.This paper takes the universality research of mural colors in Tashilhunpo Monastery as the entry point,deeply excavates the color and aesthetic value of murals,and applies the mural colors of Tashilhunpo Monastery to oil paintings,to better guide the creation.This paper first analyzes,researches,and summarizes the color law,color characteristics and aesthetic value of the murals of Tashilhunpo Monastery through the field investigation and collection of murals in Tashilhunpo Monastery,and based on this,the creation "Holy Garden" theme oil painting.Secondly,apply the color characteristics of the murals of Tashilhunpo Monastery to the theme creation,explore a different visual aesthetic,integrate oriental characteristics into the oil painting creation,and lay the foundation for future artistic creation.Finally,it expounds the creative inspiration,creative process,spatial layout,color expression and other aspects of the conception and emotional expression of the theme oil painting of "Holy Garden",combines theory and practice,explores the original heart,and summarizes personal perception and thinking.
