Research On The Construction Of Nostalgic Memory In New Age Rural Documentaries

The process of urbanization has accelerated the disintegration of nostalgic memory,and gradually presents the dangerous phenomenon of "collective amnesia".Cyberspace is the common spiritual home of hundreds of millions of people,and literature and art works are undoubtedly one of the best mediums to connect creators and recipients,and naturally become an important way to construct nostalgic memories.Therefore,documentaries on rural themes in the new era,which take into account aesthetic value,cultural value and social value,become an important medium for carrying and constructing nostalgic memories.This paper takes memory theory and film semiotics theory as academic support,takes documentary films on rural themes in the new era as research objects,takes nostalgia memory construction as research direction,and explores how nostalgia,as a kind of memory symbol,is constructed in documentary films by combining with the graduation work "Remembering Nostalgia".In the opening part,the article starts from the definition of related concepts,sorts out the symbolic elements that present nostalgic memory in the documentary film,and builds a nostalgic memory symbol system;in the main part,the article discusses the construction characteristics of the internal symbols of nostalgic memory and the presentation methods of the external symbols of nostalgic memory,and then summarizes the value and significance of the construction of nostalgic memory;finally,the article focuses on the construction of nostalgic memory in the graduation work Finally,we reflect deeply on the problems in the construction of nostalgic memory in the graduation work "Remembering Nostalgia".On the one hand,this study provides theoretical support for the research on the construction of nostalgic memory in new era rural documentaries;on the other hand,through the research on the construction of nostalgic memory in the video medium of new era rural documentaries,it awakens the nostalgic memory of the public,shares the rural development paradigm,thus empowers the rural revitalization strategy and provides realistic and feasible guidance for revitalizing the countryside.
