| Incense,as a description of the perception of good taste,has been used in various ways by ancestors in the course of history.Whether it is the fragrance of nature or the fragrance of man,it can trigger a variety of emotions of the ancients.Therefore,in the process of continuous enrichment of literary works throughout the ages,incense has become a fixed image containing rich literary meaning and cultural connotation.The Shunkang period of the Qing Dynasty was another important stage in the development of Ci study after the Tang and Song dynasties,during which Ci study’s theory and creation were parallel.The development of incense production provided a material basis for literati to write more incense images in this era,and the breaking of the limitations of Ci study’s theory on the content of words also made the scope of incense images in words wider.From the incense image in Shunkang’s words,we can observe the political,economic,cultural and scholarly psychology of the dynasty under the cracks of the early Qing era.The introduction part mainly sorts out the research status of incense culture and incense imagery,and clarifies the academic achievements that can be used for reference in thesis writing and the innovation of thesis topic selection.Through the combing of relevant literature,it can be seen that the current research on incense imagery in the academic circles is concentrated in the literary works of the Tang and Song dynasties and "Dream of Red Mansions",and the research on incense imagery in the Shunkang period of the Qing Dynasty is still in a blank stage.The study of incense imagery in Shunkang words can open up a new research path for the huge Shunkang words,showing that Shunkang words are richer in incense image writing than in previous generations.The first chapter provides an overall review of the social function and cultural connotation of incense.According to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs,incense imagery in literary writing covers the pursuit of different levels of incense in human beings.Therefore,the incense imagery in literary writing shows multiple meanings from material foundation to spiritual pursuit.Incense imagery appears in a variety of forms,from the word “incense” to the name of incense products such as Chentan,longshe,and the imagery embodied in these incense products is also different.Incense burners,incense seals and sachets are the material embodiments of incense imagery,which belong to the scope of incense imagery and convey the different cultural connotations of incense imagery.The second chapter examines the writing of incense imagery in ritual rituals in Shunkang’s Ci.The writing of incense imagery in the ode shows the gradual process of the mentality of the scholar from the Ming dynasties into the Qing dynasties towards the recognition of the new dynasty and the reverence of the scholar-bureaucrat class for imperial power.Showing the background of the era when women’s education level increased greatly during the Shunkang period,the incense imagery reflects the difference between women and men in writing about women’s lives and emotions.Women’s writing is more inclined to the record of real life and emotions,and men’s writing reflects men’s imagination of women’s psychology on the one hand,and expresses their adherence to high personality through incense on the other hand.and the incense images in the autumn and winter festival words have both the joy of the festival and the emotion of life.The third chapter examines the writing of incense imagery in Shunkang’s Ci in relation to women.Through the study of incense images in Ci poem in the theme of love,Aiyu,Cuizhuang and eulogy,it shows the life course and emotional experience of women in the Shunkang period.At the same time,through the exploration of the connotation of incense imagery related to women,it truly presents the emotional outpouring of intellectual women in different situations in the Shunkang period and the metaphor of the scholar-bureaucrat class on the situation of state affairs and dynasties through incense imagery.This paper is analyzed for the line drawing and synesthesia techniques used by literati in the Shunkang period to create incense imagery works related to women.The last chapter examines the writing of incense imagery associated with the literati during the Shunkang period.As far as the internal composition of the work of Ci is concerned,the incense imagery in the Ci of reward,yongwu and yonghuai is expressed in the way of bixing sustenance that has lasted for thousands of years,showing the sorrow of the relict literati and the sense of rise and fall of the scholar-bureaucrat class.As far as the external aspects of the the work of Ci are concerned,the use of the the work of Ci’s explicit temporal and spatial background in the the work of Ci shows the clear historical consciousness of the literati in the Shunkang period.And a large number of practice creations make the emotional expression in Shunkang words appear patterned. |
