| The inscription of forest steles in the Ming and Qing dynasties is the general name of the forbidden steles erected by the official or non-governmental organizations for the main purpose of protecting trees in the Ming and Qing dynasties.As a very distinctive type of stele literature material in the Ming and Qing dynasties,forest protection steles in the Ming and Qing dynasties truthfully record relevant information about forestry in the Ming and Qing dynasties,including not only forest protection prohibition steles,afforestation steles,but also mountain forest ownership boundary sites steles,as well as mountain forest township rules and regulations steles,involving many important contents such as forest regulations,forestry thoughts,forest protection mechanisms,ecological environment,and folk customs during the Ming and Qing dynasties,It contains rich important information such as historical culture,language,customs,and customs.At present,the research on forest protection steles in the Ming and Qing dynasties is still at the initial stage in the academic circles at home and abroad,mostly focusing on literature collation and research.Occasionally,relevant research is also mostly concentrated in the field of historical research,and most of it is sporadic textual research on the historical facts and related ecological and environmental protection ideas.From the perspective of language and writing,there are few achievements in conducting thematic research on Chinese lexicology.Therefore,on the basis of a comprehensive and systematic collection and collation of forest protection inscriptions in the Ming and Qing dynasties,we further conducted a thematic study of Chinese lexicology,focusing on the interpretation of four major categories of words,including vegetation destruction,forest policy announcements,forest policy penalties,and forest protection management.We also explained some words that are not easy to categorize by thematic meaning,and also conducted a study of rare words and words not included in dictionaries in forest protection inscriptions in the Ming and Qing dynasties,This will provide some reference for the compilation and revision of large-scale dictionaries in the future.The full text is divided into six parts:The introduction describes the materials and objects of this study,the current research situation,the purpose and significance of the study,and the research ideas and methods.The first chapter is overview of forest protection steles in the Ming and Qing dynasties.This paper describes the basic situation of forest protection inscriptions in the Ming and Qing dynasties from the perspective of their temporal and spatial distribution and basic types,and then summarizes the terms of vegetation destruction,forest policy announcement,forest policy punishment,and forest protection management in forest protection inscriptions.The second chapter is a study on the classification of forest protection steles in the Ming and Qing dynasties.From the perspective of thematic meaning,carry out thematic research on vocabulary,focusing on the words recorded in inscriptions such as vegetation destruction,forest policy announcements,forest policy penalties,and forest protection management,and describe them in detail.The third chapter is the ideological culture of the people of the Ming and Qing dynasties reflected in the forest protection inscriptions of the Ming and Qing dynasties.From the analysis of the words in the forest policy announcements,we can draw the legal and political thoughts of the Ming and Qing dynasties that the people obeyed the law according to law,officials strictly enforced the law,and officials and people strictly punished for their mistakes.Then,it analyzes the people’s forestry thoughts during the Ming and Qing dynasties from two aspects: forestry ecological thoughts and forestry economic thoughts.The fourth chapter is the supplement value of forest protection inscriptions in the Ming and Qing dynasties to the "Chinese Dictionary".This chapter takes the "Chinese Dictionary" as a reference,and based on the words appearing in the forest protection inscriptions of the Ming and Qing dynasties,provides additional examples and meanings for some words included in the "Chinese Dictionary".The conclusion through the above research,the main research content of this article is summarized as a whole,and the follow-up research plan and related information are described. |
