| “Organic Marxism” claims to be a new trend of thought that "inherits and develops" Marxism. Its theory has certain Marxist characteristics, and with the participation of Chinese scholars, its theoretical construction is somewhat related to Chinese Marxism. However, under the influence of the theoretical characteristics of the "post-study" thought, there is no substantial connection between "Organic Marxism" and Marxism. On the one hand, organic Marxism praises and quotes Marxist theory, examines capitalist "modernity" from the perspective of Marxist criticism, affirms the ecological thinking contained in traditional Chinese philosophy, and also affirms the outstanding achievements in ecological civilization construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics, which has certain positive significance. But on the other hand, organic Marxism distorts Marxism and even threatening to replace its orthodoxy.Especially in the face of Marxist world view and historical view, the attitude of "digestion" and "deconstruction" shows its "Non Marxism" nature, led it to deviate from scientific theory. Therefore,Organic Marxism can only be regarded as a new trend of thought about Marxism under the label of Marxism, but it is not actually Marxist theory.Specifically,on the one hand, this paper starts with the text of “Organic Marxism”,summarizes and sorts out the theory of organic Marxism as a whole, and distinguishes its academic relationship with Marxism. On the other hand, the author uses comparative analysis and dialectical analysis to evaluate the rationality and irrationality of Organic Marxism,so as to find a way to break through the predicament of organic Marxism based on the basic position and viewpoint of Marxism. In general,to evaluate and analyze organic Marxism,we should base our final foothold on scientific Marxism, examine Organic Marxism from the critical perspective of Marxist dialectics, accurately grasp its true nature with Marxist viewpoints and methods, and better adhere to and develop Marxism under the new historical conditions, especially Marxism in contemporary China and Marxism in the 21 st century. |
