On The Ecological Critical Thought Of Organic Marxism

Organic Marxism is a post-modernism trend of thought which criticizes capitalism and Modernity under the background of contemporary global ecological crisis.Based on the ecological critical thought of organic Marxism,the author analyzes the development of organic Marxism,and systematically explains the philosophical basis of organic Marxism from theoretical framework,value goals and other aspects.This paper first introduces the social and historical background and ideological source of organic Marxism,combing the similarities and differences between organic Marxism and Marxism.It points out that organic Marxism criticizes capitalism from the perspective of ecology,exploring and answering the relationship between man and nature and the root of ecological crisis.At the same time,through the investigation and criticism of organic Marxism on the capitalist system and its ecological value system,this paper summarizes the philosophical methodology basis and significance of organic Marxism.In the third chapter,the method of comparative study analyzes the uniqueness,heterogeneity and innovation of organic Marxism.The objects of comparison mainly include ecological Marxism and Sinicized Marxist ecological civilization thought,from which the ecological concept of organic Marxism is obtained.At the end of this paper,the author analyzes the ecological critical thought of organic Marxism from three aspects: significance,limitation and practical value,and points out that organic Marxism promotes Marxism and Chinese traditional culture,but meanwhile misinterprets Marxism and the practice of Chinese ecological civilization construction to a certain extent.
