Under the background of globalization,domestic fantasy films in the new century(abbreviated as: When imitating Hollywood fantasy and competing with it for the domestic film market,domestic fantasy has formed a film type different from Hollywood fantasy,and has gradually occupied the top ten domestic film box office rankings,which has caused many domestic scholars to study domestic fantasy,while film industry aesthetics,as a prominent feature of domestic fantasy,is rarely discussed by scholars.Based on the theory of "film industry aesthetics" proposed by Professor Chen Xuguang,combined with literature analysis,case study and comparative analysis,this paper is divided according to the exploration period(2001-2012),development period(2012-2017)and maturity period(2017-present).This paper expounds the phased film industry aesthetic characteristics of domestic fantasy based on the film industry background of different periods,and considers the change path of domestic fantasy film industry aesthetics,the cultural logic behind the development of film industry and the practical value of domestic fantasy.This paper is divided into four chapters,which are the introduction and three main chapters.Firstly,the first chapter introduces the research background and significance of this paper,defines the concept of "film industry aesthetics" and "domestic fantasy film" and summarizes the research ideas and research methods of this topic.In the second chapter of the exploration period(2001-2012),the film industry was initially established,and the co-production of the mainland and Hong Kong became the main production force of the film industry in the trial stage,forming the aesthetic characteristics of the film industry such as the continuation of the types of Wuxia gods and monsters,the use of old themes,and the carnival aesthetic style.The third chapter is the development period(2012-2017).In the face of the uneven quality of film works,improving film quality has become the main goal of the development period.Sino-us co-production provides Hong Kong directors and new power directors with the opportunity to learn deeply from the Hollywood film industry,and domestic fantasy presents diversified aesthetic characteristics of the film industry such as genre,network novel adaptation,and aesthetic hybridisation.Finally,in the fourth chapter,the maturity period(2017 to now),the film development is moving toward normalization through legislation,and the film industry is in urgent need of upgrading.At this time,the new force directors fully step on the stage to become the main body of industrial production,and embody the film industry aesthetics with localization characteristics from the three levels of cross-media immersion,spectacle narration and modern translation of culture.In conclusion,the practice of domestic fantasy film in the new century from the perspective of film industry aesthetics reflects the aesthetic construction of domestic fantasy film industry from Hong Kong style exploration-Hollywood style imitation-national self-construction,witnessing the development road of film industry from the beginning to the basic formation,is a response to the goal of "film power",and also provides experience reference for other film type production. |
