Since the 21 st century,such as video devices,smart phones and social media has been witnessed rapid development,with the gradual popularity of personal computers.The real space and the traditional relationship between people’s social interaction has been broken under the strong influence of social media in the new era.More and more people use social media to share opinions,views,experiences and thinkings.Artists are keenly aware of the transformation power of social media.They begin to explore the use of social media to break the restrictions of space and time on new media art,and the contradiction between virtual and reality,the contradiction between artists and audiences which has broaden the path of new media art creation,explored new possibilities.This paper has summarized and analyzed the creation cases of new media art in social media context,as well as the creative cases that focus on social media itself,and explored the creative methods and culture of new media art in the context of social media.In this paper,the characteristics of new media art creation in social media context has been sort out and clarified in different angles,explored the its impact on art communication and art experience,conducted practical creation,which provided reference for future generations to study new media art creation in social media.According to the analysis of cases and literature research,we have found that social media has become a tool for artists to create and the media to present works,and has promoted the transformation of new media artistic creation ideas.New media art projects in social media context have the characteristics of fuzzy identity,interactive participation and online crowdsourcing,presented a variety of the forms about art and artistic creation,which brought new artistic emotional resonance to "users" and meet people’s artistic emotional needs.
