In the process of international Chinese language teaching,it is undoubtedly necessary to have a textbook that can help foreign students understand the physical geography and humanistic features of the cities they are studying in order to better adapt to the life of overseas students and promote their language learning.As the youngest municipality directly under the central government in China,Chongqing has gradually become a hot city for foreign students to choose as their study destination in recent years,with its increasing level of internationalization.Therefore,designing a tourism Chinese language textbook of Chongqing’s regional culture from the perspective of cross-cultural communication has positive significance in promoting the development of Chongqing’s international Chinese language education and promoting Chongqing’s tourism culture.At present,there are relatively few textbooks related to Chongqing tourism Chinese in relevant resource libraries and book purchasing platforms.This thesis adopts four research methods: literature review,questionnaire survey,interview,and on-site investigation.Based on the data collected from the survey,guided by the research results of textbook writing,cross-cultural communication theory,and other relevant theories in the field,the aim is to design a localized Chongqing tourism Chinese textbook from the perspective of cross-cultural communication,and design a sample chapter of the textbook as a display.Specifically,firstly,this thesis reviews and summarizes the research achievements in the compilation of international Chinese education professional textbooks through literature research,including general Chinese textbooks,specialized Chinese textbooks,and tourism Chinese textbooks.Secondly,this thesis explores the basic theories of the compilation of Chinese tourism textbook of Chongqing,including the concepts and principles of textbook compilation,as well as the theoretical basis.The writing concept is to help international students adapt faster to the life of their study abroad,better adapt to Chinese language learning,and promote the improvement of cross-cultural communication skills.The writing principles are discussed from five aspects: practicality,scientificity,locality,pertinence,and interest.The theoretical basis includes cross-cultural communication theory,linguistic theory,second language acquisition theory,psychological theory and other related theories.Once again,this thesis uses research methods such as questionnaire surveys and interviews to collect relevant data on international students and foreigners in Chongqing,as well as the opinions and suggestions of international students,foreigners,and teachers on the design of Chinese tourism textbook of Chongqing.From this perspective,this thesis discusses the compilation plan of Chongqing Tourism Chinese textbook,including three parts: the overall design of the textbook,the main content,and related supporting facilities.Specifically,the overall design section discusses the design plan for the name,directory,and course content of the textbook;The main content section discusses the writing plan of seven parts in the textbook,including pre class preview,vocabulary,text,grammar points,cultural annotations,extended reading,and exercise questions;The relevant supporting parts discuss the design schemes of three parts: appendix,teaching resources,and textbook evaluation.Finally,based on literature research,questionnaire surveys,interviews,and field investigations,combined with the textbook compilation plan,a sample chapter of the Chongqing Tourism Chinese textbook is designed to display and provide relevant explanations.
