Intangible cultural heritage, which is the wisdom of the masses, full of national emotions and of historical, artistic and scientific values, can increase people’s cultural consciousness, enhance national cultural identity and strengthen the cultural confidence of society. The trend of globalization and cultural unification has squeezed the living space of intangible cultural heritage, and it is facing the dilemma of interruption of inheritance,over-exploitation,and distortion and abuse.Under the influence of the development of intangible cultural heritage theory and practice at home and abroad, the policy system established by the state and local governments to protect intangible cultural heritage,as well as the broadening of museums’ work objects and the transformation of their functions, the collection, protection, research and dissemination of intangible cultural heritage have become a task that cannot be ignored by museums. As a "consortium" of 11 museums, the "1+10" project of the Anthropology Museum of Guangxi is responsible for the collection, research, exhibition and education of intangible cultural heritage in Guangxi, the whole country and even the world.Based on field survey of the Anthropology Museum of Guangxi "1+10" project "consortium",we reviewed and sorted out the museums’ intangible cultural heritage protection in terms of collection, exhibition, social education activities, cultural and creative products, other contents and research results, etc. The work of the museum is reviewed.Three specific categories of work are selected: collection and conservation, exhibition and social education activities, and the specific practices of each museum are summarized and summarized. On the basis of the theoretical basis, the survey and interview of the audience, and the interview of the museum staff and the inheritor of intangible culture heritage, concluding the analysis that the collection and storage of the intangible culture heritage for the Anthropology Museum of Guangxi has the problems that the special management of the collection has not been perfected, the social openness of the image database is not enough, and the special collection of the intangible culture heritage needs to be strengthened. In the exhibition of the Anthropology Museum of Guangxi, there are problems of insufficient systemic display of the items of intangible culture heritage, relatively single sensory experience of scene restoration, detachment of living display from the original space, and experience of interactive facilities to be improved. In the aspect of social education activities, there is also the problem of a single structure of activity subjects and narrow channels for activities. In view of the problems in collection and storage,we propose the improvement measures of adding information about intangible culture heritage in the collection files, conducting special collection of intangible culture heritage collections, and opening the image database. In response to the problems in the exhibition of intangible culture heritage,we propose to expand on the intangible culture heritage of exhibition through content optimization, add multi-sensory experience to create an original environment, use scene restoration to reproduce the real state of intangible culture heritage, and strengthen the experience of interactive facilities to improve the content of interactive facilities. In view of the problems in the social education activities related to non-heritage,proposing to enrich the main structure of social education activities and broaden the channels of social education activities.
