The tourism and performing arts industry,as a typical representative of the new era of cultural and tourism industry innovation,has continued to release its consumer demand under the background of Hainan’s international tourism island and free trade port,which has also ushered in an unprecedented new journey for Hainan’s cultural and tourism development.However,with the rise of the mainland tourism and performance industry and the diversification of the "cultural tourism +" model,Hainan’s tourism and performance market is under serious external threat,and the unbalanced development of the tourism and performance industry in the various regions of Hainan and the uneven quality of the projects have also had an impact on the upgrading and transformation of the entire Hainan tourism and performance industry.The development of the tourism and performing arts industry in Hainan is not only uneven,but also has a certain impact on the upgrading and transformation of the entire industry.It is a difficult problem for the tourism and performing arts industry in Hainan to solve in terms of how to effectively enhance the competitiveness of the industry and break the shackles of innovation.Therefore,it is important to study the competitiveness of Hainan’s tourism and performing arts industry,analyse it and make recommendations to enhance its competitiveness in order to break the industrial barriers and promote the transformation and upgrading of Hainan’s tourism and performing arts industry.Firstly,this paper starts from the concepts of tourism performing arts,industrial competitiveness and tourism performing arts industry competitiveness,reviews the development history of Hainan tourism performing arts industry and analyses its competitive development using Porter’s five forces model.After fully understanding the development of Hainan tourism performing arts industry competitiveness,drawing on Porter’s diamond model as a reference,combined with the actual situation of Hainan tourism performing arts industry,to explore the composition and influencing factors of Hainan tourism performing arts industry competitiveness,and build Hainan tourism performing arts industry competitiveness model.Secondly,on the basis of the model,the indicators are divided into five categories,including creative elements,market analysis,related industries,industrial competition and government behavior,and through the Delphi method to score the importance of each indicator,and finally determine the competitiveness of Hainan tourism performing arts industry evaluation index system.Again,the use of hierarchical analysis to determine the weights,the construction of judgment matrix,with the help of SPSS software and Excel software on the competitiveness of Hainan tourism and performing arts industry indicators for the weight calculation and analysis,for the later analysis of Hainan tourism and performing arts industry competitiveness factors to provide data support,for Hainan tourism and performing arts industry competitiveness of the proposed path to lay the foundation.Finally,according to the results of the previous research,we provide suggestions for improving the competitiveness of Hainan tourism and performing arts industry from five aspects: expanding the supply channels of talents,consolidating the supply of creative elements;developing the tourism and performing arts market,stimulating the market demand;building tourism and performing arts industry clusters,improving the industrial value chain;improving the quality of tourism and performing arts products,enhancing the competitiveness of the industry;playing the role of government functions,promoting the high-quality development of the industry.
