| During the Ming and Qing dynasties,Buddhist art developed rapidly,and with the prevalence of the idea of the integration of the three religions,a number of art works that broke through the original religious statue formula began to appear.As a representative work of the hanging sculpture art of the Ming Dynasty,the artistic style of the Changzhi Guanyin Hall has been inherited and developed based on the colored sculpture style of the Song Dynasty,and there is a connection between the theme,style,and religious beliefs of the hanging sculpture statues in the surrounding areas during the same period.It is an outstanding creation combining the political background and religious concepts of the Ming Dynasty.This article takes the hanging sculpture of Changzhi Guanyin Hall as the research object,and based on field investigation and consulting relevant literature,analyzes the hanging sculpture art in the hall in terms of statue content,artistic expression forms,spatial creation,artistic value,and other aspects.It also compares the hanging sculpture sculpture with the hanging sculpture sculpture of the same period,with a view to obtaining a more comprehensive understanding of the hanging sculpture art of Changzhi Guanyin Hall.This article will mainly be divided into four chapters to study the hanging sculpture of Guanyin Hall.The first chapter mainly conducts a textual research and explanation of the historical evolution of the Guanyin Hall through field visits,survey of monuments,and reference to relevant documents.It also conducts a formal analysis of most of the suspended sculptures in the hall and an identification analysis of some deities.The second chapter is an analysis of the artistic form and spatial construction of Guanyin Hall’s hanging sculptures.This article mainly discusses the production techniques,realistic modeling,and color expression of the statues in the hall,and analyzes the visual space,kinesthetic space,and implication space created by the overall hanging sculpture,to explore the connection between the combination of statues and the overall atmosphere it constitutes.The third chapter mainly compares the hanging sculptures of Lantian Shuilu Nunnery in Shaanxi and Xiaoxitian in Xixian County,Shanxi in the same period,exploring the similarities and differences between them and the Changzhi Guanyin Hall in terms of the content,volume,layout,and performance of the statues,and summarizing the unique features of the hanging sculptures of the Guanyin Hall.The fourth chapter is an analysis and demonstration of the humanistic and artistic value of the hanging sculpture art of Guanyin Hall.Through the analysis of the religious blending phenomenon in the civil society and the political background of the Ming Dynasty,it explores the deep cultural reasons behind the composition of the hanging sculpture of Guanyin Hall.Then,it analyzes the aesthetic characteristics of the hanging sculpture of Guanyin Hall through the pictorial representation,dramatic scenes,and artistic implications of religious blending presented by the hanging sculpture. |
