Research On The Creation Of "serenity" Series Lacquer Painting

With varied scenery in all seasons and unique hilly terrain,Youyu County in Shanxi enjoys the reputation of ’Chinese Babisone’.It has an important strategic position as a frontier fortress in the north of China in ancient times.It has a unique cultural landscape with the Ancient City of Youwei and ancient ruins such as the Great Wall,ancient forts,beacon tower,and ancient villages,with a unique cultural landscape.Therefore,it has attracted painters from all over the country to sketch,and numerous sketch bases have been established successively.Last winter,the author went to Youyu to collect wind,and was shocked by the charm of Youyu snow scene.Youyu ’s beautiful snow scene is inseparable from Youyu ’s unique geographical features.All things under the heavy snow fall into silence,creating a solemn and broad-minded,concise and lofty northern scenery.The author first studied the artist ’s paintings,watercolors and other paintings depicting the snow scene of Youyu,at the same time,I studied many excellent lacquer paintings depicting snow scenery.The snow scene of Youyu made the author produce the inspiration of creation and stimulate the enthusiasm of creation.The author ’s graduation creation decided to use the form of lacquer painting to describe the world of Youyu ’s silver and plain,and express the love and awe of this land.As a young painting,lacquer painting has developed vigorously in recent decades.The unique texture and luster of lacquer painting have achieved the unique artistic charm of lacquer painting.The performance of snow scene and the unique material language of lacquer painting-eggshell mosaic can be perfectly matched.In this paper,the author also expounds the origin of eggshell mosaic,the classification and technique of eggshell.The author ’s graduation creation is to depict the ancient castle,hills,dead trees and villages under the background of Youyu snow,and present the picture with various lacquer painting languages such as eggshell mosaic,graining and powdering.This creative practice has made a useful attempt to the language of snow landscape lacquer painting.As an important theme of northern lacquer painting,snow scene needs further study and research.
